I hate everything about this certain game and I will keep complaining because I love to argue and beat dead horses.

Chill.

Well, yes, saying you think the sole purpose of this thread is to provoke people is a pretty provoking comment in itself. Like I told Dark Drakan, I don't have the same opinion as I did when I started the thread. I stated that opinion in previous posts. I feel that it's definitely a bad thing if everybody starts insulting everyone.

Anyway, can we just agree to stop this pointless argument?

This is why threads are usually closed BEFORE things start going down the argument route. We all have enough forum experience over the years to know when things are going to change for the worse and close those threads BEFORE things start. As it is inevitable in most cases that we have shut down that they WILL go down that road.

Threads that are closed after arguments have much more lasting consequences than those that are closed before all the flaming has started that we have sensed early so closed. The work doesn't stop for us after a thread is closed in those cases as we then have to take time to speak to the members separately and iron out any issues and add warnings to others. Then try to sort issues between members that have been involved in said arguments to stop those personal comments that are sometimes brought in between each other being spread around the forums in other threads and profile messages.

Anyway, can we just agree to stop this pointless argument?

We do, by closing threads before they turn into arguments by telling people to be mindful of what they say and respect others opinions. So to prove that point this thread itself is going to be closed to prevent any more of these arguments. Think we have proved our point and why our methods are correct.
