Robert Carlyle in general would be great, if they ever do a lords of shadow anime and he is not voicing gabriel then that is criminal.

i thought of a pitch where he is Leon's half brother.
leon is from lament of innocence which takes place around the same time but has a different origin for Dracula. So using both origins as a misdirect would be fun.
i dont mind drawing from the reboot for this series. I think it works better as a prequel to 3 than the manga with a more interesting conflict.
the manga works more like a sidestory dlc than a whole game.
same with the first light novel.
outside of the half-angel/half-demon thing, Im fine with drawing from the reboot.
despite the controversy, it has similar issues to how i feel about 4's story.

Ok. Fair enough. I have no issues with it but I have almost no investment on this. I liked Castlevania ok but not enough to get super excited about this so it doesn't bother me. As long as it's better than the old anime.

-This version will take advantage the cancelled book from the DMC3 manga to show about Lady's development, how she joined to the militar group, how to get her Kalina Ann and her backstory is going to be the same. Adi wrote that he doesn't want to lose the time with a background of her story because all know already.
-Lots of people are discomfort with her new outfit that armor or whatever but Adi want to around the serie evolves this character, her attitude and clothing.
Anyway the costume is a Captain Commando reference

-He said something about Lucia that she is going to be in the show (we won)

Why would lucia be in the show, if it is set during manga years it is like 15 years before she is due to appear lol.

it could be a prequel to 2 as Dante goes to Dumary Island for other cases or Netflix adapts 2 earlier in Dante's life. The latter is fitting as the games changed their mind about what to do with 2.
The more i read the more this seems like this will be all over the place in terms of story, which is actually offputting.
so far it just feels like a DMC3 prequel which is similar to how the Castlevania show starts out.
It does sound like quite a lot fluff being added onto the beginning of 3. Lady's expanded backstory and the Alice in Wonderland stuff from the DMC3 manga that we saw in the trailer, plus it seems that Dante might have a skirmish with the military at one point. Then Lucia of all people showing up in an undisclosed role, hopefully just a cameo or something.
It does make me worried for the pacing of climbing the Temen-Ni-Gru and whether we'll see all the boss fights at this rate.

but its probably more of an outline than an actual manuscript.

I am starting to suspect about his declarations. I mean he believe that Vergil is an anti-hero and that he wasn't Gilver.
im hoping Vergil looks like this in the show.
it would be funny if he went by Paul, which was his original name when DMC was RE4.

@Cosmefulanito94 he was trolling. I think he admitted that on twitter at one point. Last time I remember he also joked Mundus is misunderstood or something
I really hope they do justice to the actual combat potential from the series, the original anime was very subdued compared to the games.
