I think S2 was completed along with S1. This seems to be a pattern with Netflix. They make one, split it in two and make it seem like there's more content than there really is.I’m just hoping season 2 of Devil May Cry won’t be as bad
If he actually used the word kid then he is falsely advertising. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so I'd say he might be misremembering but at 22 you are way too old to be confusing your childhood with your adulthood. This gives heavy vibes of Neil Druckmann attributing partial inspiration for The Last of Us 2 on something he saw on the news when he was "a kid", but it turns out he was 22, since the incident he referred to happened in 2000 and he was born in 1978, but his wording was vague enough at the time to imply he was some impressionable teenager.
And, you know, that's the thing. The guy has brilliant ideas. Castlevania had a lot of really fantastic parts. That first season when the invasion happens, the build up and many other scenes are great. There really are some fantastic parts to that show, but there is only maybe 6 or 7 of them which would total to about 10-15 minutes for 3 seasons and the rest is at best skippable and mediocre and at worst utter garbage. This is a show that has both the scene where Dracula says I'm killing our boy but also makes a main character out of a side boss and turns her into the most foulmouth, obnoxious, c-word in animated history. Not interesting, not appealing, not even tolerable. Just crap. These two exist in the same show, but the bad and the whatever are far more prominent.you know it will be worse
