Ironically, no ones arguing now that we've gotten around to the actual objectifying of women.

There is this show from England called Coupling, there was a crap US remake that didn't make many happy, but one of the couples has a rather self obsessed woman that uses far too many products in hopes of staying young and her love interest is a well hung chauvinist/really doesn't know better, ladies man. In one of their arguments regarding sex not had, before they become a couple, he says 'because I respect you as a person' to which she responds 'Patrick, I don't need you to respect me as a person, I have women for that.'

Hey woah woah woah, I thought we were talking about fruit here...
If we're talking out fruit, why don't we have some 'banana' pictures on here too?
As a side note, it's weird that when a women flashes her chest, it's seen as hot, but when a guy gets his junk out, it's classed as indecent exposure. Does the world not find male bodies as attractive or something?

Well I'm currently watching some porn if that helps.
Guy on guy action porn?
I just don't get porn. It's so fake, from the actresses who look fake and fake moan at anything, to the guys who for some reason narrate what they're doing while jackhammering her. It's just all fake. If a guy did porn stuff in real life, the woman would be bored out of her mind, very uncomfortable and would probably leave after 2 minutes. No one could get off to that sort of thing. Thank goodness most guys grow up and realise that's not how you do it in real life.

I guess that show is right to an extent. Women do make good support systems for each other, share problems, emotional support, compliment each other on outfits if they're cute or cool. Do guys do the same? The most I see with my guy friends is pranking each other, gaming nights and booze cruise. I've never really seen them share problems or compliment each other. Maybe it's just the guys I know...

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Men are more willing, therefore seen as more 'desperate' -- therefore, making them more 'unattractive'. The good news though, is that some women out there are actually trying to make being topless completely legal.

Good luck, you wonderful people. Godspeed.

Actually the more correct hypothesis is that the male genitalia or any genitalia in general can be labeled as taboo to the public which its a reason why they never show the vagina or penis in R rated movies (unless its in a quick flash or an unnoticeable second.....Apocalypto is the only example I really seen) but its okay to show breasts.

Plus a girl flashing her breasts or at least shaking/jiggling them is very comparable to a guy taking his shirt off flexing his chest....and pecs....and abs. We just don't see it as that.

As for the question on porn...no I was watching duck on duck action. QUAAACCCKKKK!!!!

Truth be told I wasn't watching porn...I was making a funny due to the current situation. Also, guys narrating during sex? What porn do you watch? Most porn will be lucky to show the guy's face let alone have him say words outside of...well I'm not going to go there. As for sex and porn, granted there are stuff (well most) in porn that I would never emulate or try doing although actual couples have done rather ridiculous stuff in sex that you might not find in porn that doesn't sound possible when you hear it and dozens tricks or ahem "Advanced Techniques" for sex that actual health doctors or associates advise for enhanced pleasure. As unrealistic as porn is, people have done weirder and crazier stuff in real life. I guess people are very different when it comes to their sexual preferences.

Also discussing this topic had me thinking of this.

I think we've shifted from the series been sexist to are we. Its not that we've said anything terribly sexist but if we did I'm sure one of the women in the forum would let us know.
