Combat is looking better.

Although the chain thing was overused.

I hope that during the game that tones down by ALOT.

And the graphics are looking pretty good also.

But I must admit that I'm not liking the colorful and bright tones from the settings. I like my DMC game "darker" in tone.

And as LordOfDarkness pointed, His DT should be more powerful. Its seems the only thing it does is make the enemies slower which is not all that cool. NT should definitely boost his attack and speed for that form. Also they could make it a bit longer, but maybe you will be able to upgrade ingame?

Overall this was not a bad trailer, but also not a awesome one either.

His DT is EXACTLY THE SAME as quicksilver style in DMC3.
They even kept the grey color of the screen when using it.

Over used chains? if you dont like the chains, then dont use it in combat. I'm sure Dante has tons of other options, like we've seen, to kill demons. I think the colors are amazing. That is what NT does to a game. It gives it life where there once was nothing. And who here wants the enemies weaker? Because last time i played dmc, i got my ass kicked. Or maybe when Dante devil triggers all the demons should just die right there, it would be alot eaiser!!...........................facepalm............................................

ok the presentation of this game greatly exceeded my expectations. Its so obvious how close capcom is working with NT at this moment. Granted the guy playing the game doesnt seem to know anything about stylish combos, from the crap he was putting out, i could tell how responsive this game is.
The chain whip is awesome, unlike Nero, its not just a snatch and grab. You can pull yourself twords the enemy or you can pull them twords you. It seems if you pull the enemy twords you, you are given 3 different options 1: High times 2:two kicks to the face 3: combo out of it. And thats on the ground and air borne. IF you want to talk about how slow the game was well i can only think of one thing... the Ax. Not really too surprising considering that its a heavy type weapon. But the Sythe is where its at. Its the same speed as agni& rudra but the difference is the air combos. There seems to be a charging in attack with the sythe, a high time where he can lift multiple enemies into the air, and while in the air he can either attack with a spinning attack or do another sythe high time to go even higher. The range of the sythe is huge too, Dante was connecting with hits when the enemy was standing behind him.

no gunplay either....(man that guy sucks at dmc)

You all watched it right? Its nice to know that DMC is in good hands with NT and their progress is great. I hope the people who are not going to buy it, can at least see the potential here. I'm not even trying to find reason anymore to like this game, it speaks for itself.

agreed it looks like capcom and ninja theory are doing great work with what we've seen and i hope many fans are as optimistic about this game as i am, because i really do want this game to be successful, even if it is a reimagining.

The whole inception level reminded me of the bloody palace from 4... but finished... and expanded on. Its like the art direction from NT was to put depth into everything you see. everywhere you look in the game it gives off a mystery vibe, unknown feel to it. From the sunset glaring into your eyes from the second trailer, to how violent the city changes. The demon gates are now those eyecams. NT is just giving the game reason other than a stylish main character

i would definitely say the environments so far are the best in the franchise, and with you, it seems like ninja theory is giving meaning to everything in the dmc universe

I mean when u first get trapped in a room with the red gates, theres no warning telling you whats happening. u just kill everything and then the gates explode.
Now the cameye detects dante and summons enemies to kill you while trapping you in. And the only way to stop it is to kill everything and destroy the camera... its just logical i guess

you said the chains were over used and thats the players fault not the game. And how could me or you know if the chains are going to be a requirement in combos. To me, that doesnt sound like a dmc game, thats sounds more like a Castlevania game.
