New York Comic-Con

I managed to play the game too on friday. Coming from an extremely new DMC/DmC player it was kinda tricky to adjust to the new controls since i'm not used to using my middle and forefingers but trust me when i say it was VERY satisfying. Arbiter has a very crunchy hard impact that makes you feel real nice and Osiris is smooth as hell. Oh and i managed to do Rain Storm, sh@t is real awesome to pull off.

It just seems the DmC winning because it has Reuben Langdon (the voice of Dante), AngryJoe, and many other people who played the demo have all said positive reviews about it. I only see haters still hate the game and its still unknown even if they played the game. The only important figure in the gaming community to give it a bad or a not good review was NeoGameSpark who played the build at NYCC, he didn't say it was bad but not DMC but more Heavenly Sword, but he too was already hating game and I don't think he plays much DMC, or fighting games as he admitted, for he didn't even know what juggling was and he was only like given I think he said like 5 minutes to play the game.

Most people simply hate it because how the pr was done (I kind of see the hate from that angle). Mostly on Tameem's behalf. While I took it as just his own personal opinion, most took it as insults towards the fanbase and the original creator.

Others are just skeptical about the story line, saying that it's very "self-insertive fanfiction" and "trying too hard to be edgy and cool". Some while say that's it's cringe-worthy even with the little bit of story footage shown.

AngryJoe is just worried about the dlc side of things, he's been very disappointed by that stuff. While the gameplay is great and does stand on it's own merits, he doesn't want to feel so betrayed by those shady practices. (his interviews mostly bring up that question)

Journalists should really up their game. It's their job to be just as informed as the interested gamer. The annoyed gamer has repeated this so many times, but it's true.

Actually Alex Jones seems to have played a key role in the bad PR, literally laughing at fans.

Here is the way I see it:

TGS 2010
Poorly done PR
2011 gameplay trailers
The fact that games rarely have to hide behind a "Game still in development" thing. It came off as a "Be gentle because we half assed it."

Eventually, it came all together to make a sh*tstorm stew.

I see. Well, I feel worse when original ideas get scrapped to make something a tad generic-looking (Overstrike to Fuse) or when the pr isn't vocal about anything (SquareEnix, Team Ico).

It all comes down to how you choose to interpret it, I guess.

Again can't wait but well Im still on hope that this will be viewable on Internet as Im not on event :/

Mundus is in total control of the city. Holy smokes.
Looks like the last few levels are going to be very platform and combat heavy.
