All we know right now is that Dante and Vergil are the only half-demons, and that Sparda might be the only demon who had a relationship with a human.

By the way, it wasn't stated that Vergil had sex with a prostitute... all the kids in Nero's age group when he was adopted just assumed that his mother was a prostitute.

Anyway, the age thing is really messed up. I read that somebody said that Dante was 32 in the DMC4 novel. But I'm certain he's 29 in the game... unless Capcom didn't mean that DMC4 was exactly 10 years after DMC3, but only roughly (so 13 years).

So let's say Vergil would be 32 in DMC4, not 29. He would be 15 when he conceived Nero. Ah heck, it doesn't matter... he could've conceived Nero when he was 12 or 15, it doesn't matter... it's still unlikely.

So this is the timeline:
DMC3: Dante is 19.
DMC1: Dante is 28, since it's 20 years after Eva was killed (Trish said You're the man who lost a mother and a brother to evil twenty years ago, the son of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda, Mr. Dante.). That was in DMC1.
DMC4: Dante is 29, since it's ten years after DMC3.

Yeah... that should be right, unless DMC4 isn't exactly ten years after DMC3.

Yeah, since there isn't a definite official profile that states the ages for each game it's nearly impossible to make sense of the ages. For all we know Dante could be 40 at DMC4, the next time Capcom mentions his age, as they never try to stay true to their original statements.

This is pretty much accurate.

As I said a while back, the time-line is as follows.

DMC 3: 18/19.
DMC 1: 28.
DMC Anime: 28/29.
DMC 4: 29.
DMC 2: Between 30-40 years old.

And it is totally unlikely that he did have Nero at such a young age. Besides, as I've also mentioned before, the person who wrote the Devil May Cry 4 Novels has quit Capcom. It's up to us as to whether we think his work is canon, but I wouldn't say it is in my opinion. So we should disregard this theory, as it definitely doesn't add up.

ok so lets put the age thing aside.we all know that nero has a connection with vergil the blue DT shadow and vergils power quotes so all we can say by this info is that he's vergils son it pretty much seems like he was created for this but capcom messed up.

There will be a dmc in every major city on earth.

He could be a clone of vergil.
