So yea, just keep telling yourself that Tobey was a better Spider-Man. You're wrong. Andrew Garfield did a fine job as the web slinger.

Really? People are wrong for having an opinion about something like this. That's a first to me.

they'll never be at the level of awesome that the end of Spider-Man 64/PS1 was
Dude....that game. So underrated.

I also think I'll probably be in my late 80's before someone at Marvel wakes up and adapts Spider-Man 2099 to the big screen. Or Carnage. Or Kraven. Or Black Cat.

Jesus, how has it been five Spider-Man movies in our lifetime, and none of those characters have made it to screen?

because for some reason hollywood thinks people don't want awesome things in there movies

That Spider-Man game for the PS1 is indeed awesome.

And dude, the only villain I want to see grace the big screen in the next Spider-Man flick before anyone else, is Mysterio.

Peter Parker and Miguel O Hara. Worlds collide! Yes, I am playing with them.

I love that web cape on 2099 and the short lived unlimited animated series.

The webcape and Red X's torn cape are the best additions to just about any costume...

After the crap that was Topher Grace, I want a decent film version of Venom, they could have him as a villain at first, then give him his own film as an anti-hero.....They've been talking about it for years

As big of a Spider-Man fan I am, I really think we don't need a Venom movie. Especially the one they are talking about which apparently won't be connected to the MCU. What's the point then?

Cause a lot of people are fans of Venom specifically, and they'd enjoy it.

There are many Spider-Man villains I'd rather see then go back to Venom whom we already had on the big screen.

Yes we did.....and it was terrible. How did people react to Deadpool in Origins Wolverine? They wanted a closer adaptation to make up for it, and we got it. People want the same for Venom.

True that but to be fair, as much as Venom's inclusion in S3 was **** poor, they nailed the character way better than Origin's Deadpool.

Yes and no, Venom in Spider-Man 3 was horribly mis-casted with Topher Grace.
Ryan Reynolds was great in the beginning of Origins: Wolverine as Wade Wilson, it's what they did with the character at the end of the movie that f@#ked it over.

No, I meant the way the character was written, not the actor.

And also the looks. At the very least, Venom looked like... Venom (except the super bulky part, but I've seen non jacked up versions too). The same can't be said for Origins' Deadpool.

it's what they did with the character at the end of the movie that f@#ked it over.

Which is why I said what I said. The ****-up with Venom was a lot less serious than the one with Deadpool.

Seriously, I don't mind Venom and Carnage, (I mean, check it out, I have an Anti-Venom figure)

but they really don't need solo movies without Spider-Man.

They both kind of represent everything that was wrong with 90s comics. Mysterio deserves to be the next villain in a Spider-Man movie.

Meh. Back when I watched the Spider Man animated show as a kid, I swear to God I was always bored as all hell whenever Mysterio showed up. I really don't like Mysterio. I'd easily take a Venom or Carnage movie over that.

I just wanted to say Spectacular Spiderman is my spiderman to the point where I read Spidey comics with the cast in my head.

It was taken too soon (granted we got Young Justice in return but it too was taken from us)
