Hideaki Itsuno Will Be Present At The E3

Personally, I don't think anyone would... at first.

But, knowing the fandom however, it would probably be one of the highest-selling remakes if Capcom went through with it.
Depends on what changes,if any they would make to the game.If its just a recast of VA and pretty graphics I could care less.Of course,a good portion of the fanbase would be all over that sh*t lol.

Guys, each to their own :)

I'm so bored of remakes, reboots, remastered games. I know you could argue and say "If it's done right". But you know, that's what you're meant to do the first time 'round. I don't mind giving a company a chance to redeem itself in any way (because that's almost what it feels like) but there's a point where it seems like too much.

Bring on DMC 5!

I will, cause I got legitimate criticism against it, both as a Devil May Cry game and as a standalone game.
Then you're acting like an elitist. There's no getting around that.

Besides, I almost never see you really criticizing the rest of the games as much as you do (by bringing it up in the ranting thinking threads) with DmC.
Well kind of like how I've got legitimate reasons to want you guys to stay on topic and play nice ;)
How am I supposed to do that with this blatant hypocrisy?

He says, "to hell with any elitist," then unfairly criticizes DmC out of nowhere in threads that have nothing to do with that game.

Edit:

@LordOfDarkness

I'll leave this thread now and let foxtrot have the last word because I know that's what he wants, and I don't wanna get on your bad side.

Nope. An elitist picks a game as a favorite and compares the others to it sh!tting all over them and praising that one game at the same time.

I said I got criticisms against every game in the series. I can PM to you if you wanna know them.

Reason why ya don't see me complaining too much about stuff I don't like in the originals is either because that stuff doesn't show up in discussions that often, or because I want to avoid wars.

In this board I've expressed both things I like and I don't like in both sagas.

On topic, I think that the most plausible thing is that Itsuno is there (when it comes to Devil May Cry) to promote DMC4SE, using E3's global visibility, he can reach more people than just the fans of the series.

Could we please stop tossing that word around (elitist) It's seriously getting old now, like Eva's Victorian curtains.

DMC1 elitists for sure LOL

But maybe, if they revamp the combat and make huge graphical remake with MT Framework... MAYBE...

See that would also be a bad idea.
One of the things that makes DMC1 so memorable and still playable to fans is the nostalgia. If Capcom tried to change the gameplay experience from what it was back in 2002 like say, add new weapons, new costumes, new characters, new mechanics, etc. then it won't feel like DMC1 anymore but instead another DMC3 or DMC4, and that's not what DMC1 players want out of DMC1.

I'm not an elitist. My personal favorite is just DMC 1, and I admit mainly because of nostalgic heartstrings.
I meant that in the most casual way (in your case).

It's just that your preference was so strong towards DMC1, that it was that the only word that sprang to mind when I said it.
