Hideaki Itsuno Will Be Present At The E3

@Vergilius: Logo tease > Nothing.
Actually, I'd rather get nothing. I'm tired of these teases.

When Vergil was first teased, we thought he would get his own campaign; instead he got only two or three cutscenes, so that was a disappointment.

I don't mean to get my hopes up, but when there's just a teaser, my imagination inadvertently runs wild (as you saw with my Vergil theory that I PM'd you), so I can't help but be disillusioned with the end result.

Plot Twist #2: It's neither DMC5 or DmC2 but Devil May Cry: Zero. The Sparda chapter we've all been waiting for. It'll be badass and unites the fanbase in the Halls of Fortuna Castle.

I think hype is still kind of fun even if you are let down in the end. I remember expecting a full campaign for Vergil but that didn't happen, but I wasn't too mad because Vergil finally returned in playable form (which I always wanted in DMC4 because I liked his playstyle in DMC3). But I will be keeping my expectations in check for DMC5 I hope, but I'd at least hope for some kind of coop mode (like NG2 has), and we can expect at the least 2 campaigns because DmC and DMC4 had 2 campaigns. Vergil will probably return because Capcom likes money and Vergil fanboys will buy anything with Vergil in it (which I am included as). They know we will be hungry for a Vergil campaign after not getting it in DMC4:SE, so they'll make it a preorder bonus...

Imagine how let down you might end up feeling if DMC5 doesn't make an appearance at E3.

Not if you get excited but also prepare for the worst scenario at the same time. Like I did for DMC4 Vergil, to give you a recent example. It depends on how one approaches it, really.
A teaser's purpose IS to get people excited, so you can't blame it for doing its job. However, if a person starts making big assumptions based on a short logo teaser (provided that's the kind of teaser they would show) - which is practically nothing - then it's that person's fault.

Speculating is also fun, yeah, and nothing wrong with it as long as you keep in mind that, you know... it's just speculation and nothing concrete.

You mean the DMC game I've been wanting to play ever since I've first heard the story of Sparda? Where do I sign, dude?

I knew that Capcom wouldn't give us much so I actually did keep my expectations low.

But even my low expectations didn't prepare me for what Capcom had prepared for us.

Like I said before: Keep. Dreaming.
