General DMC 5 Discussion

Welp, that was interesting. Now every playable character has white hair. It's the super saiyan effect. I don't know how I like Vs gameplay yet. Doesn't look very intuitive but you never know until the controller is in your hands. Kinda sucks that the demo is XB1 only but hopefully it won't take long after this to get it on PS4. Or maybe XB gets the Nero one and PS4 gets the Dante one. I'd have no issues with that.

And what about PC? The most I can hope for is that maybe W10 users will still get to play it cause the Xbox store is shared as far as I know but I got W7 so I wouldn't play it regardless.

By the way. Remember when I said this? It look like this is the weapon Dante is using in the trailer when he goes Majin form. Check it near the end of the trailer.

I mean yeah but that's still assuming they'd do the cross platform thing which I'm not sure about and besides, I definitely see myself playing the **** out of the demo till my fingers bleed and it's not like I can just make camp in my friend's house. LOL
 
It's just like...not good? Of course, it says the "first demo" is for Xbox One, hinting at others coming to the other platforms, but it's still just...blech. Obviously it sounds like whiny entitlement to some, but this a multiplatform game that suddenly only has a demo on a single platform for an indeterminate amount of time. I'd sure like a chance to try it, but why am I gettin' burned for not supporting a system that previously had zero games on it that I ever wanted (or not investing in a high-end gaming computer). There's no justifiable reason that would really be acceptable other than "Microsoft gave us money for it," which doesn't mean a thing to the portions of the consumerbase that lose out, and it honestly kills a lot of good will.

Being perfectly honest, all of the junk that anyone ever levied against DmC and NT, and their perceived insults of the fanbase, it pales in comparison to this - actually snubbing a portion of the fanbase on something they've been really wanting. Even if it's just a demo, even if it's only temporary, this is a definitive snub of (some) fans for whatever their partnership with Microsoft is. Not once did I ever get upset by anything Ninja Theory or DmC did or said, but this? This made me go "Well **** me, I guess?"

Oh well, not much to be done about it.

V seems like a strategic character to use. No hacking and slashing, but playing carefully with your strengths and weaknesses. Also I don't know the reason for the white hair, but that DEFINITELY feels like a reference to DmC: Devil May Cry.
Honestly, I'm gonna laugh if V ends up being like DmC!Dante and Kat's son from the DmC!verse who traveled through some dimensional astral plane to visit Classic!Dante.
Also DAT MAJIN FORM AT THE END THO
