i think the devs behind koudelka and its successor Shadow hearts have a kickstarter project out "Penny Blood".

if that project takes off- maybe we will get a return to Koudelka?

so id remake it as an FF7 spinoff with Tifa as the protagonist and set it between the 5 year gap of CC and FF7.
