i think the devs behind koudelka and its successor Shadow hearts have a kickstarter project out "Penny Blood".

if that project takes off- maybe we will get a return to Koudelka?

Prototype, as now microsoft own it and have so many studios and teams, it is a perfect time to make a new one.
