The only thing those guys disagreed with is the improper disagreement of opinions. You're seeing things that aren't there.
 
Reviews for this genre in my opinion are a joke because reviewers don't know **** about gameplay, they only review the cinematic part of it, so it doesn't really matter for a combat game.

Not that reviews in general are worth anything, btw.

No it's not, at least you can give your opinion there, negative or positive, and people will answer your points instead of ignoring when it's a bad opinion and like your post when it's a good one, which is exactly what happens here with my posts.

The reviews I care about are the ones about regular people on the internet whose opinion I respect and care about. I'll read people's impression with the game here and on GAF, but I won't even waste my time reading "professional" reviews.

No it's not, at least you can give your opinion there, negative or positive, and people will answer your points instead of ignoring when it's a bad opinion and like your post when it's a good one, which is exactly what happens here with my posts.

Do not trust review companies
But do not trust FANBOYS too

Review companies are bunch of monkeys and all they care are CoD (fps games) and money.
They give 9/10 to so many crappy games (for ex:SFXT)
Probably its for money or a FPS reviewer does all the reviews.

But there is something worse out there. It is fanboyism.
Dmc3, Mgs xbox-ps3, Need for speed, Resident evil, Cod etc. fanboys...
Even on movies or music...Just like Justin Bieber fanboys.

DmC is a new game. It is not Capcom. Even if it was Capcom what would you expect? Better than fanboys DMC3?
Capcom cant satisfy fanboys. They put all the efforts, all the content, everything fanboys wanted in RE6 but classic RE fanboys said ''We want the old RE, this one sucks F*** you Capcom''

Nothing would be change if Capcom tried to do DMC5.
Cause fanboys would still shout ''F*** Nero, we want old school DMC3 Dante, F*** you Capcom''
It is incredible how Fanboys are stupid and how Capcom is clever cause they sell THE SAME GAMES OVER AND OVER with HD versions (Sf,mvc,ds,dmc,re,megaman..) and fanboys are ok with it.
Just like Street Fighter 4 fanboys.
Capcom sold them 5 version of it. And they are still like ''Oh Capcom please give us SSF4AE: v.2013''
And they still want ''Please give us SF alpha series in HD''

The NT guys tries something new, let them do. I dont like Dantes face and the gamespeed but everything else looking great.
They try to take all the best moves of styles into 1 mechanic.
They try to make the controls understandable by everyone (not just DMC hardcore players)
We have a living world, shaping exploding..it is cool.
They tried to make the game more serious and worldwide instead of Japanese anime style game. If you really love DMC3 or 4 that much, just go play it again, in HD.
Stay positive, it is a good game.

Neogaf is full of elitist autists who think they're top stuff because they used their high school email to sign up.

I do have an account and post there, and who said I didn't like it here? I just don't like the kind of defensive behavior like yours we get here, it's even funny to see people argue about fanboys of the old series being unfair when you all do the same while being fanboys of the new series.

Blind fanboys are bad for both sides.

Just like this place is full of elitist autists who think they're top stuff because they're not close-minded and are giving this game a fair shot, excited for something new

Just like any forum with a majority of old series fanboys is full of elitist autists who think they're top stuff because they don't like dumbed down combat so they think this game is **** before even trying.

You can use that for any place, really.

Now now. There really isn't any need for insults and broad generalizations. Bad eggs are present in almost every web site but from what I can see, they are normally the minority and are just more outspoken and that gives them a sense of 'presence', so to speak. I've heard that places like gamefaqs and 4chan are horrible places to be but I've checked both places and the people there are not as bad as people have described. Generally speaking, the users there are nice and as long as you're not acting hostile and all, people won't treat you badly. I've heard plenty of people say "Oh, X place is bad" or "The community at X site is crap" and comments like yours but it's almost always not true and mostly limited to a select few incidents.

I'm not saying that your line of though is wrong or anything but you should try thinking it over a bit.
 
Just treat the internet like real life. Be nice and usually people are nice back.:) I think with forums, there is a sense of anonymity, so there are some people who go out of their way to flame or bait people and be a troll because they know they can get away with it without real life consiquences.

It's hard to get a topic back on track once a flam war starts. That's why some forums have a special section for flame wars and trolling. ;)

You're wrong though, I don't think any of those places are bad, I was just showing how his line of thought can be used for any place, because, as you said, every place has its bad eggs.

No dude. I liked street alpha 3 but i don't want a HD port of it to new consoles. In fact, in a recent survey, I did not ask for ports of old games but did ask for a NEW street fighter alpha game.

I hate to be one of the 'haters', but... do you think he was paid off in any way? Or, perhaps he was biased?

I don't know. I just have this really uneasy feeling. I am glad that this game got a good review and excellent review score. It alleviated some of my fears about the game not being as good as I hoped it would be.

If you're looking for a place where you can bash(or even insult) this game you litterally have all the internet for that This is obviously a site where people who like what they've seen and played of DmC so far come to discuss. I would even say it's the ONLY place where people can openly show their support for the game without having to fight an army of trolls. Why should it have to be exactly like the dozens of other sites?
Yes people here get defensive when you attack the game...SO WHAT? After the crap the so called "true fans"(what a joke name) have fed us for 2 years now i'd say those who like DmC have every right to tell them to go f*ck themselves. Don't act like you were gonna talk some sense into me or others. If i want to "blindly" love a freaking video game then who are you to tell me i'm wrong by doing so? Like i said if you don't like the crowd and its behaviour here then feel free to go to places where you can talk with more level headed and mature people like whinerfaqs, youtube, neogaf, etc....lol.
