First DmC Review

Thanks for the link. It's a shame to see people there thinking Capcom bought the review though. :(
Well some people just don't agree with others' opinions so they have to convince themselves that there is something wrong with the other person's opinions. Such as saying Capcom paid them for the review.

Damn I knew I got that from somewhere lol. That should be Ninja Theory's theme song. Seriously, they should all just get up and start dancing

It's sad, every time there's a really good review on DmC, some sad people out there have to think Capcom gave them money to say those things. And it's not just the one off, they say it every single time there's a nice review (seriously, that magazine thing I uploaded, some fool tumblr said the same thing, it was sad).

Where's that gif again I saw on...oh here it is :)

I think people just get so stuck to their way that they don't want to see another side.

I don't know if the review was paid for or not, but I hope it wasn't. Games should be scored on how good they are, not how much a company can bribe a magazine.

It's making me think of that guy on youtube called Main events. He was showing how some companies do pay for publicity and reviews. I hope it is not the case with DmC. It's a good game, so no need to bribe people.
And, if bribing is going on, not just with DmC, then I think I'll lose faith in the game industry.

I agree a game should be judged on its own merits.

Funny, the guy translating the LEVEL magazine review forgot the part where the reviewer actually complained about the combat being simplified for the worse. And that there was less bosses in DmC than in the previous games.

Do you have the magazine?
Not in my hand right now, I glossed over the review while I was looking after White Dwarf magazine in my local store. I don't remember the details but the reviewer in general liked the enviroment and design but he obviously didn't like that the combat was simplified. Oh and that the controls weren't as good as previous DMC games.

Hmmm that's weird because in the LEVEL magazine he says the complete opposite, at least from what the Neogaf user translated.

I can prove that the usermember in Neogaf is bullshitting but that will take two days since I'll be busy with new year and stuff. I'll get back to you guys and post pic of the pages so you can google translate or whatever.

Oh right, forgot to add, the score is still the same though 9/10

He probably translated it wrong then, but I'm just happy it get a 9/10. Hope the good reviews keep on coming.

I don't see why we should take MultiBro's word for it or that neogaf user's for the matter. When i actually see the pics of hte pages then we can talk.

lol @ that:
- The controls in DmC isn't as good as in the previous DMC-games - it's much better

- DMC-veterans will feel "home"

- Basically all the changes has been for the better good; combining Devil May Cry's deep, sophisticated action with the modern action-adventure stage-design

Yeah I don't fully agree with the controls statement.
Don't get me wrong I love the controls in DmC and they are very intuitive, but so are the past DMCs. And each series uses controls to do different things so its hard to compare them.
