First DmC Review

While I'm sad it isn't on a sword, the fact that you can toss it out and continue combos like normal is certainly welcome n.n I do love how it's like just tossing out a giant energy saw blade.
Yeah, the big sword was part of the charm, but it's still better than nothing.

I personally don't think so. Considering the fact that most DMC4 videos are rendered at 60 fps then uploaded to YouTube showing 30fps. Yet it still looks fairly decent.

But I have to buy him. So that presents another problem in itself.

There's a huge difference between rendering a video and rendering a game. DmC was developed with 30fps in mind so the animations are slower to keep things smooth looking. DMC4 was developed to 60 fps so animations can be fast.

Well I hate to bring this up since I don't know if it's relevant or not, but what about DmC on the PC? It runs at 60fps.
Compared to the "60fps" video for the PC that's on YouTube, the console version looks similar. Almost identical.
Even when one game runs on 60fps and another runs on 30fps.

And I'm merely talking about visuals since you said yourself that it would look ridiculous if DmC had an instantaneous dash, like Sky Star, since it's in 30fps.

DmC on PC just looks ultra smooth.

The reason why the PC version looks similar to the console on youtube is because YouTube converts a video recorded at 60 fps to 30 fps by "combining" frames together.

EDIT. When a game is rendering at 30 fps when it should be rendering at 60,its because the hardware can't keep up with the demands from the CPU. That's why there is "slowdown" when a 60 fps game runs at 45.

What? Angel Glide is a downgrade? How so? You can still use it for cancelling purposes.
Angel Glide and Sky Star are very different tools. Angel Glide is a solid move for aerial traversal and positioning, but it does not have the incredible startup speed of Sky Star (there is a slight pause before Dante starts moving with Glide) or the invulnerability. I think they did this because Dante has plenty of invulnerability with Air Dodge, but I would have preferred that Glide be more like Sky Star with a bright angel wing motif instead of a red arcane circle.

Air Trick had invunerability frames so you wouldn't get it. So it was kinda more reliable. You didn't get hit in the middle of a teleport because well . . it's a teleport.
Angel Dodge is a teleport, but not a tracking teleport. It still has tons of invulnerability and goes through enemies.

True.

Sucks that you can do it only after a dodge. Not to mention it's so short (Personally, I think Angel Dodge is useless.)

I can totally see a lengthened angel dodge in the upgrades menu happening.
The one thing that bothers me about it is how he tracks back to the ground when doing it in the air...

Yeah I can definitely see upgrades for it. Kind of like upgrading Table Hopper in DMC4 multiple times to a point where you can have 2 additional Dodges. Or just a lengthened Angel Dodge altogether.
If there aren't any upgrades for it then, oh well. It's the thought that counts.

And yeah I hate how he lowers himself when you do it in the air. It's slightly annoying imo.

7.5 or lower- "I TOLD Y'ALL THIS GAME IS TRASH!!"

8.0 or higher- "CAPCOM PAID THEM TO GIVE THEM THAT SCORE!!!"

I believe that's how it's gonna be if one of the biggest game sites review the game.
