Eurogamer videos

Would you mind giving a short summary of each the 10 levels you have played so far? One or two sentences per stage would do(Put spoiler tags if need be). Thanks.
 
hey, just a few questions:

how do feel the game AI acts? is it sensible, as in the demo i found they could act quite stupidly at times
are the boss fights obvious, ie weakspots as pointed out as poisons (succubus)
are upgrades and exploration encouraged?
are you enjoying playing??? (like u wanna sit down and not stop til ur done)

I have some more gameplay footage which has just gone live on the eurogamer youtueb channel (sorry I can't post the link until i've made 10 posts!) but I still have access to the preview build (the first 10 levels) and am allowed to upload up to 4 mins of gameplay from a single level. Baring that in mind, and the fact that i'm pretty rubbish at the game, is there anything you guys are desperate to see before the game is released and i'll try my best to capture it and upload it for you.

Welcome to the forum Ian :) I want to ask you if in the actual game we have the option of turning on/off the thing that when you meet a new enemy or boss it shows it's name...or they have removed it at all? ;/

Well, I really don't know about what you could show us, lol.

I would like to see a full stage gameplay, if it's possible. I would like to see the first mission gameplay complete and that's about it. Not really serious spoilers in that mission, it's just the beginning of the game. So, I guess we'll all be fine with you showing it 100%.

If you can, I would like to see a trailer showing little parts of the first 10 missions.

I watched the video to do you a favor and i did enjoy because they finally showed a bit of Phineas.
Also, what is your impression for the game so far from what you have played? Is it good or just decent?
 
Hey Ian! Great video! Thanks for posting here.

How well does the ps3 version run compared to the 360? We know its brighter with higher res textures but the frame rate may be a problem.
 
HEy sorry i've not been replying guys, been hard at work making videos. A new gameplay video is now up on Eurogamer for those interested. Again, I can;t link it yet but it's there and viewable :)

To try and answer a few of the questions, I enjoyed the game but wasn't that taken with it. I've only played the first half though and it got better a it went along so the last half might be really great, I don't know.

I can't make long videos, i've been set limits by Capcom but will be live streaming an hour or two on the 15th of January.

PS3 runs fine for me, not noticed any framerate issues myself, but i've not really been looking for them! I've not played on Xbox.

Turning on and off boss names. Not sure, I think once you fight them once it never happens again.

AI is pretty basic, circles you while you fight others, some charge, some fire projectiles at a distance, nothing to taxing.

Does Devil Trigger activate new grapple points on the Hunter boss? Not sure sorry, I never tried it but I think it opens new grapple points on all boss enemies.

Sorry I can't go into much more detail, i'm supposed to be working ;) shhh!

OK, quick bit of time to answer you last few q's and them i'm off for the day!

F-bombs. Didn't count but he does have a bit of a potty mouth thats for sure!

How experienced am I - not at all, I have played bits of the others a long time ago but i'm an FPS'er by trade and was very noobish playing this so apologies for my lack of skills!

Am I Ashens? Haha! No, but I've met him a few times and am friends with him on XBOX :D If you want to see what I look like check out my hobby YouTube channel Platform32 - I do regular live streams there while Eurogamer is my full time job - I only started in December so looking to build the channel with masses of gameplay exclusives and live streams for as many games as possible in 2013. It's exciting stuff for me!

Ian prepare to see Eurogamer have some pretty bad like/dislike ratio due to you obviously having fun with DmC and not bashing it cause you dont like it :P
