do you think the real devil may cry 5 in development right now by capcom ?

Solid snake smoked a s**t load of cigarettes but it also came with an M rating. If people cannot choose for themselves and are able to buy M rated games then maybe we might have a problem.

Smoking is considered to be cool and rebellious by youths. Period.
Why would anyone argue over such a common fact? Hell, even I started smoking with sixteen, because everyone did. Felt alpha as f***.

1. The idea of what's cool is not universal in some places smoking is considered cool in others the only people that smoke are people that got addicted when it used to be considered cool everywhere.
2. That good feeling had nothing to do with rebelling that was just the nicotine.

You think so?You're not the majority and i certainly disagree.If you think it made you cool then fine,fantastic,wonderful.I don't understand why people who smokes think that it's cool but hey go with it if you think it's cool to you.
 
To be honest I was never too keen on Dante's drinking either, but at the same time it was never glorified in the game. You didn't see Dante with a flask in his hand while kicking demon butt. And for me it's not about trying to be healthy or Dante being a role model to 5 year olds, but imo whenever they show smoking in that matter it comes off as a cheap gesture to look cool or some lame gimmick. Like I said this is just how I feel on the matter. Sure, some felt Dante was cheesy, but to me he never felt forced.

this is what almost everyone has been trying to say about dante smoking.
 
Because a buff guy with a red coat, no shirt either (classy), and overly large sword with dual pistols..... who eats pizza..... doesn't feel forced at all.
 
Why are people making a big deal about this new Dante smoking cigarettes? Or smoking in general? We haven't seen DmC Dante smoke since the teaser trailer, so maybe they cut the smoking out. Then again I don't care whether he smokes or not (since I've been smoking on and off for the past seven years). Anyway, isn't this supposed to be a conversation about Capcom developing a DMC 5?

To answer this thread's question, no I don't think DMC 5 is in development by Capcom at the moment. Between DMC HD and DmC, what's the point? :/

If the people at Capcom who are responsible for Devil May Cry were smart enough to come up with a plan like that. They would have been smart enough to know that they needed to provide some form of explanation for Nero in DMC4 instead of implying a badly thought out explanation in a novel that might be canon.

if they did plan something like that the plan failed because there are as many fans are looking forward to DmC as there are fans that are not and most of the fans that are not happy about DmC are mostly reasonable about it. So very few fans would automatically accept any DMC5 just because it isn't DmC.

I never said it was a smart idea, plus the guy who did the novel for four actually wrote the game. So im assuming the novel was canon till kobayasho got cold feet and bingo left.

Besides we are talking about capcom who doesnt know that their megaman joke in cross tekken could be scene as them kicking the dog as they cancelled megaman legends 3 unceremoniously.

So capcom got no sense either way

NO buff,He isn't shirtless,guns aren't overly large either and he doesn't pizza in DMC1 either and large swords are just a part of the Japanese game come on ! do you complain about weird dudes and large swords while playing overly cheesy JRPG games ?? [FF series]
