DmC - What We know so far

Simple we can find out if Dante came back from Hell after DMC 2 and if not maybe it could start with him in Hell fighting his way out and at the same time releasing a demon by accident as he escaped causing him to have to seal the demon back up again maybe Lucifer could be the demon released.

They can easily come up with ideas just ether takes time or someone like me with an insane mind where most ideas are crazy but would work.

But Capcom won't touch anything related to DMC2, so the only option would be doing something with Nero...

So he is Vergil's son. As I said someone said it was in one of the novels.

im not trying to correct you or anything i just thought ud like to know the source of the rumor. in the end they could still scrap that idea. nothing that official yet

I know you was not I was just saying how someone said they found out is all. But thanks for finding me a link that shows Nero is Vergil's son :D

But the novels are like Star Wars's expanded universe, not official canon :/

And yet in the link it confirms it as someone who worked on DMC 4 said Nero is Vergil's son. So the novel (Even if some people class it as non cannon) was right if that is the case.

I figure Capcom will just ignore DMC2 as apart of the official canon and continue where DMC4 left off. They might go there someday but they'll barely mention the events of DMC2 or completely rewrite it.

As for Nero being Virgil's son, I hope they stick with that because it makes perfect sense as to why he got possessed by Yamamato. And the white hair too...

As I said if a story set just after the events of DMC 2 is good enough that it can take a bad game and rise up from the ashes to be a great game I think Capcom would go for it.

And yes Nero is Vergil's son the link kindly posted by 788Masri confirms that.

Wow, I thought Nero was NOT Vergil's son, just had essence of him inside him or something...

788Masri posted a link that has someone working on DMC 4 saying Vergil is Nero's dad but it was cut from DMC 4 as it would be a good base story for DMC 5.

Also I just clicked on to something. DMC 4 is kind of like the story of Sparda. A demon (Nero in this case who is 1/4 demon) rebels against his own kind to save the human race and the world (In this case his own faction The Order of the Sword) and falls in love with a human woman (Kiria in this case)

Yeah, I just read it, and it does seem to fit better than most assumptions made about him...
Although, I still have my doubts...
