DmC Overhype

They are doing interviews about THEIR game, not Capcom's. They have absolutely zero reason to praise the old DMC games. They've already stated that they liked the past DMC games. What else do they need to say?
No, it's Capcom's game, the same way Operation Racoon City is Capcom's game not Slant Six Games.

Sure, they say they like it once or twice but constantly say less than flatering things the restof the year but that's fine. But why praice it at al, it's not like they're working on a DMC game or anyhing.
I've seen just about every interview video and they have not once said anything along the lines of DmC>DMC. If you're not going to provide any proof, fine. You've previously shown me a link in which NT supposedly blamed DMC fans for Enslaved failure, which they didn't but was rather an interpretation of the situation by the author of the article. I replied to it and you never replied back. That tells me enough.
It should tell you that I lost interest in that discussion. It was getting heated and I can't find enough to keep me going at a dead end discussion that would provebly end with a rather potentially meaningless argument that was taking away from the subject matter and provably ending up locking the tread ruining it for the rest of the memberes there.

Guess what made NT change 2010 Dante to 2012 Dante? THE FANS' OPINIONS.
And that's as far as it went. I honestly never even noticed the change untill someone pointed it out to me.

Not really my beef with this anymore ether.

"Fine, just don't think your opinions is better than anyone else's."
You what this is? It's called an advice, not a statement. Stop putting words in my mouth.
Ok.
You should really consider a carrer passed high school.

A clunky keyboard only leads to bad spelling. Your sentences are badly phrased and interpretive skills leads me to think that even if English is your first language, you aren't proficient in it. Whatever, this is irrelevant. I am not insulting your intelligence or anything. You just don't seem to be good at it.
No, Just my capacity to communicate through the English language. I'm obviously too incompitent at it to transmit a messege across or interprite a document writen in it. That's fine, in no way shap or form did that seem insulting or demining.

Well someone seems to think everything is black and white.
Well, this seems to be getting nowhere. A simple 'no I don't' can't exacly convey the odd sence of passive aggresiveness that I'm geting from that statement.

Well, then that's your problem, sorry. You're seeing something that isn't really there, and you're letting it cloud your judgment :(
And I could argue that you are not seeing what is right in front of you. It's all a matter of perception, isn't it? Are you wrong or am I?

There are things I will argue because I truely believe in them even if I can't find the words since I am not an articulate person or a great debater, and it doesn't mean that I will give the right to someone can argue better than me simply because they can debate better than I. This, however, is rather mundane and trivial. At the end of the day my desition to purchase the game will not brand it a succes of faliure and nether will my stance or opinion.

But please, don't make your statements as though I am wrong and you are right. Nether you nor I have the right to say that to the other.

It's pretty obvious this is going no where so how about we end this here?

Skyrim as flawed & buggy as it is gets awarded game of the year.
The game is still extremely fun even with all of its flaws according to most people(360 owners). PS3 owners...not so much. Besides I'm not entirely sure if one can trust VGA results since it's more or less a popularity contest.

Aaaand point! Good job, CK. ^^
Also, Skyrim on PC works perfect!

Yes but Skyrim was rated as a whole not by system, it still received high scores & it's flaws overlooked.
Its flaws weren't overlooked. Plenty of people have complained about bugs and glitches but the pros just simply outweighs the cons by a large margin. PS3 owners may have gotten the short end of the stick but many of them still enjoyed the game.

Skyrim's glitches & bugs weren't overlooked by many of the gamers but when reviewed by many online reviewers it's flaws were mentioned in passing & barely even acknowledge.
Many reviews gave it 9.0 or 9.5
My point is reviews aren't always based on fact, you may not always be getting how well put together it is but more of it being swayed by personal opinion & not an honest truthful review.

I agree with what you're saying but truthfully speaking, I myself am not sure what is the point of this whole conversation ._. It seems like we're jumping from one thing to another.

The game hype is neutral, the fact that you all is having this conversation is causing you to hype the game up, just to be disappointed in some areas. This game, in my opinion, is one of the most wanted game of 2013. Die-hard fan of DMC since 2002, and that won't change for ****. If this game turns out to be decent, NT/Capcom will learn from the critiques and reviews after the games release, and comeback with a more awesome sequel. Possibly for PS4, Xbox 720, and WiiU. Capcom knew they were going nowhere with DMC. it story went from DMC3, DMC1, DMC4, DMC2. If I'm right there is too many prequel sequels, and that **** is confusing. By Capcom making DMC4 a prequel to DMC2 story, they dug their own grave for the story. DmC was there fresh start, and NT was just the people to help them. Capcom is known for their visually beautiful action adventure games, while NT is known for their story telling and graphics. This game will be a force to be recon, we haven't seen a DMC game in the last 4 years (slap yourself if you think HD collection counts). COD is the most over-hyped overrated game of all times, hand down.

My point is If DMC-Reboot is bad, they may not be truthful with the reviews. Same goes if it good.
It's better to go by your own opinion & respect the opinions of others.
That should pretty much be common knowledge but I'm amazed at how some people can get so worked up over someone else's opinion.

Have to agree with CK here, Skyrim had bugs but guess what? I DIDN'T care, for a game of that size you can overlook a few details + many of those bugs were hilarious, Skyrim = the best open world game since InFamous 2 ...

Edit: How can there be overhype when hype in itself is already petty over ? Like the best can't be the over best. :P

ESPECIALLY if people dislike the DMC-Reboot.
People have to understand that everyone has a right to they're opinion & share they're opinion in a respectful manner even if they dislike the DMC-Reboot.
They shouldn't be afraid to speak up about they're dislike for it or be bullied by those that do like the DMC-Reboot.
If people can't handle that then they are a very closed minded individual & they have bigger issues then seeing dislikes for a game they've haven't played yet.

Also the other way around, respecting people who like DmC and have positive opinions about it. ^^

I think it's fair to say there are people here like that do who respect opinions.

I mean, back when I explained my dislike for DMC4 Dante, no one called me an asshole or a "non-DMC fan." They understood my opinion and respected it. Something I probably wouldn't get on You Tube comments or Capcom Unity.

This is indeed one of the better places to discuss Devil May Cry in, wether it is old or new. ^^

I do have to say though, that a lot of people I've seen "hating DmC" have some rather shallow reasoning :s That's just what gets me.

But yeah, if someone doesn't like it for legitimate reason, that's fine, I just don't want them ****ing in everyone else's cereal, and attacking the developers personally :/

My love grows for you every single day. ;P

:/

Well I have seen others who "loving DmC" like it for rather shallow reasons as well.

Some simply like it because its new and different and nothing more.

They could not give legitimate reasons as to why they love this game other than that.

But as others have said, I'm not going to attack said opinion.

They can like/love whatever game they want for whatever reasons they want and the same applies to the guys who apparently are "hating" on the game.

Although personally I don't think that disliking what has been shown from the game automatically equates to "hating" on it or automatically being labeled a "hater" like some other supporters of it might think.

Not saying there aren't true "haters" out there however.
