That was the best stream we've seen yet Gregaman.

I didn't think Must Style mode would be that useful, but you showed how it combines very nicely with Heaven or Hell mode; a mode which has never been that exciting. This additional mod makes Heaven or Hell a much more worthwhile mode, while still making it different from the other modes.

I can't wait to do that myself. The only thing I would say is that in between waves your style rank drops, that would be a perfect place for Taunts to keep the style rank at S or getting the rank to SS or SSS, while you wait for the next enemy to spawn.

Unfortuantely I could't hear at what you said towards the end of the stream. Did you mention you would have a special guest for the last stream on March 10th?

It's nice to see that the Must Style option now makes Heaven and Hell mode actually interesting. I thought it was pretty useless so far. :P But with that mode turned on, even Heaven and Hell is a tough difficulty.

Wow, yeah. Must Style would be great with HoH on!

Greg mentioned they are planning on getting a producer on the last stream.

I biked to work. ;p

Thanks for watching! I was alerted this morning to some video reviews one of the viewers has been doing of each of my streams and it kind of took the wind out of my sails. Man, it's a cruel world out there....;_;

That said, I did feel like yesterday's stream was a little extra fun, and that moment in VBPM was super cool and unexpected.

Yeah I think I've heard of that guy, Vash. Don't worry Gregaman, you doing a great job. I really enjoyed the last stream. You showed how Heaven or Hell, a superfluous mode in previous games adds a new dynamic to the gameplay. And I can't wait to try that myself.

It feels like a reward for finishing the game on DMD mode, but its not a mindlesss one hit button basher, you have to use some skill, but you get a nice reward for it.

I'm looking forward to what you guys have planned for March 10th; what kinds of things will the producer discuss in the final stream?

Yeeeeeeah...Vash is...something. Everyone wave at Vash, because he likes to peek at the forum and make fun of what we discuss while on his streams. Odd for such a public figure to hide in the safety of his channel and denigrate people's thoughts with some pals, instead of joining in on the discussion (even in disagreement) and helping elevate the community as a whole.

The DMC community has been in the muck long enough, for the love of God, can we just work together to make things better...? It's a game franchise, and a damn good one at that, let's have some damn fun.

Edit: It was cool to see the new way Must Style worked with Heaven or Hell mode. Didn't even think about it, but that's a lot of novelty for the novelty modes now. Must Style on its own was already an interesting endeavor.

Too bad it's too late for a Dante Must Fly mode. I remember there was a Secret Mission where you had to be airborne to beat the enemies, coulda been a fun mode in and of itself.

Thanks for answering one of my questions Greg about Vergil fighting the dreamrunners. I'm a bit disappoint that we can't. I thought it would be pretty f**king awesome facing enemies similar to him especially having to face two of them at the same time. Still really looking forward to this game...I just have to get a PS4.

I check Vash's videos out of curiosity, and I don't like how he disrespects the community here, kind of a douche he is in that regard.

However he definitely has a point on some of the things he says about the whole DE and SE matter in his videos (especially when he talked about the extremes of Vergil) and gave some constructive criticism about the streams too.

Still has a douchy tone though, which I don't like.

I'm a little bit off the track, what exactly happened???

I heard of him, I didn't see what he said about the whole DE and SE matter. What did he say that you felt he made a good point on?

Watch the video DragonMaster posted.

Also, what he said about DMC4's glitches, the fact that he hopes they don't get fixed in the SE, cause they improve the combat.

His vision about what are the worst case and best case scenario about Vergil in the SE, and what he thinks they will actually do with him.

And his criticisms about the DE streams, I found them legit after all, like the fact that in his opinion a better player was needed to really show off the DE's gameplay improvements (no offense Greg, I'm not a top tier player myself), but he should have used a better tone. Yeah he said he appreciates what Greg does with the streams, but still.

You know I just saw the video and your right, he makes a good point on a few things. Although some things he says are based on assumptions and some things he says are wrong. His assumptions however are rightly justified.

1. His first point with DmC selling less than DMC HD Collection was wrong. DmC sold more than DMC HD Collection. According to Capcom anyway, lol.

2. He mentions how DmC DE won't sell because theres no new story content. Thats actually a good point. A lot of players who beat the game won't necessarily come back to play something like DMD or GMD mode when they barely finished the game on Nephilim mode. He's right about that. Will players actually return to play harder modes when they barely finised the game on the default modes?

3. The most intriguing point he makes is: How many people finished DmC Devil May Cry on their first playthrough?

Thats the difference between DmC and the other DMC games. DmC's default difficulty was well balanced for new players. Previous DMC games and DMC4s' difficulties are unbalanced for players who've never played a DMC game and even long time fans. Thats why I feel when the DMC HD Collection came out, not many players went on to finish the games, even fewer still went on to play the upper difficulties.

What Vash is saying about DmC is applicable to the previous games and DMC4 SE. How many people actually finished DMC4? Well we'll find out this Summer when DMC4 SE comes out.

I think Vash and Judge meant new story content would be something that could appeal to casuals more than the gameplay changes like 60fps/lock-on which is true-ish and i think people are getting ahead of themselves with DMC4 as they think Vergil's inclusion would lead to new story content (maybe/maybe not).
