Watch the video DragonMaster posted.
Also, what he said about DMC4's glitches, the fact that he hopes they don't get fixed in the SE, cause they improve the combat.
His vision about what are the worst case and best case scenario about Vergil in the SE, and what he thinks they will actually do with him.
And his criticisms about the DE streams, I found them legit after all, like the fact that in his opinion a better player was needed to really show off the DE's gameplay improvements (no offense Greg, I'm not a top tier player myself), but he should have used a better tone. Yeah he said he appreciates what Greg does with the streams, but still.
You know I just saw the video and your right, he makes a good point on a few things. Although some things he says are based on assumptions and some things he says are wrong. His assumptions however are rightly justified.
1. His first point with DmC selling less than DMC HD Collection was wrong. DmC sold more than DMC HD Collection. According to Capcom anyway, lol.
2. He mentions how DmC DE won't sell because theres no new story content. Thats actually a good point. A lot of players who beat the game won't necessarily come back to play something like DMD or GMD mode when they barely finished the game on Nephilim mode. He's right about that. Will players actually return to play harder modes when they barely finised the game on the default modes?
3. The most intriguing point he makes is:
How many people finished DmC Devil May Cry on their first playthrough?
Thats the difference between DmC and the other DMC games. DmC's default difficulty was well balanced for new players. Previous DMC games and DMC4s' difficulties are unbalanced for players who've never played a DMC game and even long time fans. Thats why I feel when the DMC HD Collection came out, not many players went on to finish the games, even fewer still went on to play the upper difficulties.
What Vash is saying about DmC is applicable to the previous games and DMC4 SE. How many people actually finished DMC4? Well we'll find out this Summer when DMC4 SE comes out.
