Given his isolation from the society, he may be much less mature than he should be in his age.
You weren't saying that in DMC 1-4.
Smh
DMC1 and 2 Dante wasn't exactly the most juvenile so they don't really count. 3, yeah... wasn't he like 18 or so? 4 he wasn't as mature as in 1 or 2 but in all fairness Dante's maturety was never in question till DMC3, so in 4 he's not 'immature' but he is tacky and cheezy.Well in DMC3, dante was young so his foolishness made sense. DMC1,4, and 2 Dante was older and he was mature. So yeah their is a big difference.

Can't it be both?I don't know if your agreeing with me or disagreeing with me.
Can't it be both?
Ok!
Here's how we settle this!
Dante is 21^ because he goes into a CLUB like it's nothing.
Don't think he's 21, look how he tries to walk by the bouncer.
On top of that, he lives....I'm sorry LIVED in a trailer, how old do you have to be to live in one of those?

I know. He actually somehow seemed more immature than Devil May Cry 3 Dante. But at least he was younger and was still in over his head. Devil May Cry 4 takes place God knows how long after the first Devil May Cry.In 4 he's Dr. Evil level of cool.

I see. I'm thinking about the game right now, or at least Dante's parts; could you give me some examples of him been immature? I'm not saying your wrong, just that recall any moments of 'immaturety,' just alot of cheeze.I know. He actually somehow seemed more immature than Devil May Cry 3 Dante.

He's not really immature. He just seems incredibly insecure from his traumatically stressful years as a child, what with being tortured and abused by demons and all.Depends on how you define immaturity.
What makes DmC Dante Immature?
I'm asking you for what you think is immature about him by pointing out specific moments of it.Depends on how you define immaturity.
What makes DmC Dante Immature?
His lack of seriousness to the events of DMC4 really show he isn't just a cheese ball, but completely immature. Not taking anything seriously at all.

Wait, I thought you asked me, and I answered.I'm asking you for what you think is immature about him by pointing out specific moments of it.
Well, that is a Japanese thing. A lot of heros in animes and (mostly) action movies go around pretending they don't give a crap and make BS excuses as to why they are doing what they're doing, but they're just too cool to care. A great example would be like the movie Versus where a dude hits achick and the protagonist says "Don't touch her" dude responds "what do you care, you a friend of her or somethin'?" and the guy says "I give a crap, I just like dudes like you" or something to that effect. So they act like they don't give a crap while going out of they're way to do the right thing.
Another example is Spike at the end of the Cowboy Bebop movie where Spike tells Vincent that he can send the world to hell for all he cares, he's just in it for revenge even thought he just spent a strenious amout of time and effort to save the same world 'he couldn't care less about.'
I did, but it was more of a general question rather than to any specific individual. Anyone could answer.Wait, I thought you asked me, and I answered.

Well, that's the issue. DMC1 was intended for western audiences (mostly because of the RE staff working on it) so the series should have never needed Japanese cliches.I did, but it was more of a general question rather than to any specific individual. Anyone could answer.
Anyway. I think people mistook imaturaty for Japanese cliches and Dante and Nero (in 4) are pretty damn cliche in a rather Japanese way.
They made me cringe because they were tacky and really cheezy, not immature. And he's not 50, his in his 30's.You couldn't just remember all the parts that made you cringe?
Or hey, you could've just looked for it on youtube.
Let me guess, you disagree with us thinking that DMC 4 dante was super immature?
He's like 50 something years old!
You realize that the people making it were Japanese and therefore any cliche they add on is therefore Japanese. Don't forget, they also don't exactly want to alianate the Japoanese market since all things Japan are made for Japan. The dude who wrote DMC4 is an anime writer, and this is provably his take on what he thinks is american this or that, which he obviously doesn't know about since he might've never spent any significant amount of time here, but just the same.Well, that's the issue.
