How many occasions did Gohan go SSJ ?

I explained it earlier, I've read up on the full movie as well as watched some scenes straight from the movie and he only goes SSJ when giving power to Goku.

He used is ultimate form when he charged at bills.

The one you posted earlier was simply a mistake from 1 of the earlier trailers that was released.

So while it was a REAL trailer, it was a mistake most likely by the animation team.

Once to give Goku his "light." The image of him charging in is real thats what the produces made, half way in they realized they goofed.

disappointing i wanted to see gohan go SSJ+Ultimate.

Not misleading, rather a goof on the production team. Gohan still gets his rice handed to him anyway.

Fat buu is useless IMO

He should've just sacrificed himself to stop kid buu and i just hate how again it just Goku time... No time for piccolo or Ultimate Gohan to shine

I sure hope there are fights in the movie can top this level of awesomeness

I've seen some of the fight clips, the fight looks slowish. Perhaps due to the new animation. From what I saw it was more of punching Goku and sending him flying and vice a verse-a. Seeing the actual movie and just clips will help. Its different from the Return of Cooler movie in terms of fighting.

SO That means this Movie doesn't have good fighting at all ? man it seems kinda pathetic now... it used to be the king of fighting anime and now it can't even match up with today's standards

Just because a few scenes looked slow doesn't mean its bad. A proper release is the best way to see it not on a Youtube video of a phone recording.

A small plothole that I noticed in the movie that really isn't a big deal is Mai's age.

In the movie she said she was 41.

But that would actually make her YOUNGER than Goku which is completely impossible considering she was a grown woman during Dragon ball while Goku was still a kid.

Just wish that whoever wrote the script would pay attention to a small yet obvious detail such as that.

The animation looks like "Yo Son Goku and his friends return" and "Episode of Bardock" Those had good animation. In fact every DBZ game features the same animation style.

They are good but they just don't resemble previous works

In Ultimate Tenkiahchi they almost nailed the traditional DBZ look in HD i just don't get why Battle of gods and other OVA animations are so different.

Trunks actually doesn't time-travel AT ALL !

It was revealed in the end that he can't change anything in his future by altering the supposed "Past" that makes it a completely different universe

And that also explains why there are 2 Trunks's who killed Freiza one from which cell came from.

Time travel was supposed to be simple and linear to one universe but in DBZ there are 3 Cell's and 3 Trunks and all of timelines are completely different from each other.

I just re-watched the episode 130 where krillin asks trunks "What would happen if we go back to the time and destroy the sleeping androids" to that trunks replies "That would change the future of that world"

There is a 4th timeline with "Cell games" for a reason there because the trunks who died by the hands of cell did time-travel to a different universe and that universe is #4 where Androids are killed but Cell is still alive.

Sooo In the end Time-Traveling in DBZ is completely useless unless you're a biological freak like Cell.

It just can't be time-travel if there are 2 versions of the Future trunks killing freiza.

Yeah in a sense the term "Time-travel" is only relevant when you only travel through time... but in DBZ trunks not only travels through time but also creates different universes everytime trunks traveled he created universes

Its just the "Back to the Future" formula with a twist.. in the movie the tiny corresponding changes Marty made also impacted on his own future but in the DBZ it creates different universes

Instance #1 Trunks traveled 20 years in the past doesn't train and returns to die (this creates Instance#2)
Instance #2 Cell kills trunks and travels 24 years in the past to become perfect (this created yet another Instance#3)
Instance #3 Where Trunks learns about cell's existence in the past and goes back prepared for cell

Ironically Cell just got himself killed in all the 3 possible universes..

Everyone in show doesn't seem to realize that they're creating a time paradox by even conversing with Trunks

It's all broken logic.

That's because nothing is constant in DBZ

The androids could absorb energy however the concept fades from android 17 & 18 then reappears for Super 17.

That's GT logic for you.

The entire Trunks time travel concept went out the widow.

Actually it makes a whole lot of sense if you pay attention to all the Trunk's early episodes especially in KAI where its explained much better.

Goku has grown his tail back a few times in his life, Vegeta loses his once & it never grows again.

GT is a show where Dende needs "First aid kit"

and vegeta did magically grow a tail in SSJ4 form

Gohan born half Saiyan with a tail but Trunks, Goten, Pan, Bra, don't have one.

There is a line in the Manga where krillin asks bulma about Trunks's tail and she didn't reply to that so they probably removed it because of the risk of getting them becoming giant apes destroying everything.

Bulma is older then Chi-chi, yet as adults they look the same age.

You gotta know one thing about DBZ it had inconsistent animation styles because so many animators were working on every episode this made it harder and harder for the chief animator to supervise and keep it uniform so they probably forgot to define bulma's age properly but sometimes even in real life younger people often tend to look more mature.

and there are even more uncredited animation studios which animated some episodes.

So as i said it says one thing then contradicts itself with it's own logic, not real world logic it's own logic.

Yup but for some things like Zenkai i think it has to go because it makes little to no sense if you could just keep getting stronger by healing yourself over and over.
