  • At the moment I'm highest bidder on ebay for a new and sealed copy...44 minutes to go so fingers crossed and all that jazz. I've tried Play, ASDA, Tesco, DVD.com, The Hut, Zavvi, Amazon, GAME, gameplay...you name it, I've scouted it  I hate how the prices fluctuate so much and so quickly...

You should try the older SH games...might not look as slick as the newer ones but they are scary...you can just hear things following you in the background but can't see them and it's just...weird and scary...

And gaming on 120 inch screen is epic - no other way to describe it :D Was well worth giving up TV for and much much cheaper than getting a new TV screen.
I'm looking at SH right now actually, trying to get it for a half-decent price for Steve's birthday on Sunday. It was going for about £20 and then all of a sudden the price has shot up to £35 in most places...typical. He's a big fan of SH and now we have a huge projector screen to game on and surround sound, it makes it all the more freaky to play.
Condemned...yeah, that was pretty freaky - especially that bit when his face starts changing in the mirror at the end of the first one...

Alma was freaky as hell to begin with and the bits when she walks past on monitor screens or past the door sort of thing but it wasn't scary enough - there was too much of killing those soldier-type people and not enough creeping you out.
Makes a nice change for a game to be marketed as scary and to actually deliver - I mean, F.E.A.R was supposed to be jump-out-of-your-seat scary but it was just really predictable after about five minutes into it...so this one has really set the bar as far as we're concerned
I get freaked out when you walk past something you think is definitely dead and then it suddenly springs to life behind you and attacks...hate that soooo much...
The whole things freaks me out - I honestly cannot play it. I won't even try

Steve is still gearing up for Impossible Mode - he knows it's going to be, well, impossible, as well as scary so he's kind of psyching himself up for it
Just asked Steve and he's certain it's ok to melee - he did it when hunting for that achievement and got it without any problems. He only used the plasma cutter as well, so you should be fine. I think it only affects it if you use more than one gun in the game :)
I have a request for you. Can you extract the Devil May Cry 4 logo from this image:
Fine, thanks. I'm currently working at some sigarts. Worked hard this week. I'm trying to learn to use Photoshop better, because I'm a newbie, not an expert as you.
    I'm fine, tnx.
I'm at home atm in Romania. I'm playing now Soul Calibur 4 on my PS3 and Devil May Cry 4 on PC because I have my laptop near the TV where PS3 stays.
Yeah well the lag would totally ruin that game mode especially as Riddick moves exceptionally fast. Adding lag to that would totally break that game mode online.
One character is Riddick and the rest are Mercs hunting him on a dark level. Riddick is super fast and can see in the dark and mercs just have a flashlight and a gun. Anyone who manages to kill him becomes him in the next round.
Depends if its any good, it looked a little dated to me when i saw people playtesting it. Some nice looking modes but hard to say. As long as it isnt the lag filled mess that The Darkness multiplayer was im sure people will enjoy the 'Pitch Black' mode for some time.
They included multiplayer because the fans asked for it not because they thought it would fit the game. People loved the original and it remains one of the best rated games on the Xbox. However people were intrigued about multiplayer and what modes would work. So Starbreeze Studios said they would include it. It was originally designed as a remake only of Escape From Butcher Bay on the Xbox. As they wanted to make the original backwards compatible with the 360 but some limitations to the games engine meant they couldnt and fans wanted a new Riddick game on 360. However fans also werent willing to shell out more cash for just a remake so the game was delayed for 1 year while they made an 'Expansion' called Assault On Dark Athena. It ended up being a stand alone game in its own right the same length as the first.

With all side quests and collectables done id say the package would take around 25-28 hours approximately. Maybe longer depending on a persons play style and skill.
Its a shame they included so many multiplayer achievements i agree. I dont know if i will touch the multiplayer part of it as the original didnt have it and it doesnt suit the game. Its a story related achievement yeah and most of them are based around that and side quests.
Its good, playing through Butcher Bay again at the moment. Its just how i remember it when i played it on the Xbox.
