Yeah, the reviewers have moaned a bit from what I've seen - in particular about how unchallenging it is and lack of character customisation in couch co-op. Customisation, fair enough unless they do patch it but as for unchallenging - well duh! Peter has maintained that he wanted to make the game accessible for casual gamers and Fable is never meant to be hardcore on any level. Then the IGN reviewer compared Fable to Mass Effect and Oblivion - hello? Incomparable games anyone? Lionhead, Bioware and Bethesda are never trying to emulate or compete with one another - each of their games is individual and compelling in their own way and style - it's not like when you get beat 'em ups trying to copy one another /rant :lol:

It would probably be quicker and easier to go to gamefaqs :lol: - to be honest, the guy is kinda hiding from us at the moment and not replying to any PM's etc so I think any more of them and he'll have a fit...our members at Fable 2 are usually pretty quick with online guides anyway and hopefully will be setting them up asap onsite. I think I might have a go at it myself for one or two of the smaller side quests...

Well it looks like the guy who promised us a copy has had to order his own from Amazon so maybe he was a bit premature in offering a copy when there was no guarantee even employees would get one...still, I think we might be mentioned in the credits at the end of the game so it's not all bad

I didn't know Spidey would get your vote. I honestly don't know how people could say Batman would win. As cool as he is, he would lose under the circumstances of the fight I placed him in. Even at College, I asked my pal who is a Fanboy of The Dark Knight this very question, and he said that if it were all down to speed and strength then Spider-Man would win...

Yeah, we're pretty annoyed by it but seeing as we ordered it a tad late it was bound to happen. We were told by someone at Lionhead we'd get a free copy - hence the competition - but they pulled out on us without an explanation and so we had to order one quick just in case the winner was British. Mercifully it was someone from Illinois so we've just sent some cash instead but still - bad form for offering a copy and then hiding from all the emails saying "er, where is it?"
