    DmC2 Wishlist (Characters, Stories, etc.)

Maybe traversal options that are keyed to specific weapons? Like having Angel Boost be Aquila-only, and Angel Lift be Osiris-only. It would certainly make the traversal sequences more challenging.

    DmC2 Wishlist (Characters, Stories, etc.)

Angel Run: a high-speed sustainable dash for quick traversal and perhaps running on walls. Opens up some neat traversal challenge possibilities. Demon Guard: Instead of a dodge, a parry activated by the evasion button in Demon mode for damage boosts would be a nice touch. Stylish traversal...

    Has anyone played vergil's downfall?

To my knowledge, Vergil's Downfall doesn't even have a release date, yet. It won't be released to PSN/XLA until it's ready, and it'll be available for everyone when it is, so getting DmC early won't get Vergil's Downfall any sooner.

    Devil Trigger Shockwaves?

I think that's just with Aquila, which is a very wide-reaching weapon, and functions that way outside of DT, too.

    Devil Trigger Shockwaves?

I'm guessing the hitboxes of weapons are expanded during Devil Trigger.

    Article I wrote

I'll try to put this as non-confrontationally as possible, since I think you're a level-headed, well-reasoned guy who has written a fine article, and I never like getting into flame wars, despite how overly-simplistic and dismissive I might be about to sound... But I really think it is just...

    Countdown to DmC!!!

The most funny ones I've seen were those that contradicted themselves. Examples: "The pause combos are too easy to perform because of the flashing light and rumble! Pause combos are also too difficult to pull off because they leave you too open." "The controls are too simplified. A dedicated...

    I Miss The 'Stinger Leap'

There are a lot of things I miss from the classic series. I just hope that I end up missing a lot from this game, too, in a few years.

New Devil May Cry will teach casuals the "magic" of pro gaming

I think more impressive combo videos and advanced tactics will start popping up when the players start playing more to DmC's strengths, which are set-ups and crowd control. Dante has never had this level of ability to manipulate the position of his opponents, and every weapon reflects a...

    Another review: 7,5/10, from insight-factor...

I think Nightrunner is confused about your sig because of what's known as Poe's Law, which states "A parody of an extreme position is indistinguishable from the extreme position itself." Some of the haters are so lacking in humor that they honestly call DmC's Dante "Re-poo" Dante. I have even...

    DmC Hit Points

There have been gameplay videos that show Kablooey is mapped to the upper part of the weapons triangle on the bottom left corner of the screen. You have three guns to cycle through with the up button. GregaMan once said, when asked how many weapons there are in the game, that "we have not...

    First DmC Review

Angel Glide and Sky Star are very different tools. Angel Glide is a solid move for aerial traversal and positioning, but it does not have the incredible startup speed of Sky Star (there is a slight pause before Dante starts moving with Glide) or the invulnerability. I think they did this because...

Just how is the game slow?

I'm not saying that DmC's lack of animation design on-par with that of DMC4's makes it a bad game. I think DmC is the most well-rounded approach to the series yet, but they have made a few sacrifices in refinement for the sake of more content and a new vision. There are masterful elements of the...

Just how is the game slow?

Hm. Looking at that closely, it doesn't look like there are intermediate animations between most moves (like rose toss -> Prop), but there are between some. Mostly, it looks like the animations of Dante's moves are so amazingly designed that the end of any move looks a lot like the starting...
