I'm not particularly logical - I struggle with that sort of thing anyway - but Braid is beyond anything I have ever tried to work out before. It's pretty and the idea behind it is all very well and good but I'll turn into a penguin before I can figure the darn thing out.

I recognise the old "shot-per-annoying-person" routine - only with me it was just a case of having the drink permanently IV'd into me :lol:

ODST initally had me worried, but now its actually NOT about Master Chief, I feel alot better lol

An ODST get together sound pretty good to us - I suck, naturally, but not as badly as I thought I would. I even got hero status twice for lasting long enough to resurrect my team mates so I can't be that bad :lol:

Jessica has figured out huge chunks of Braid but I can't do it at all - it frustrates me so much I won't play it. Those sorts of puzzles are completely beyond me...I just cannot understand them, even when explained to me :lol:

Viral infection? sounds...messy...hopefully it won't last too long, eh? I remember personal statements being a ball ache for most of my college class - I didn't go to uni so I got out of the tedious UCAS stuff and the stressing about exam results. Being drunk helped...oh for the days when I was allowed to drink. Makes it all just disappear in a cloud of fuzzy vision and lost weekends... :lol:

EDIT: I hope ODST is all everyone makes it out to be, I enjoy no 1, so if its better than that...and Gears, then it'll be a well spent £40 ^^

Loss of mental ability? that makes two of us...going to dr tomorrow to see if I'm genuinely losing it a bit or just tired... I got pretty ill after having Jessica and hoping that if it's happening again I can get fixed up quicker this time.

But that's all hideously depressing so in other news things are pretty good - we're all busy playing ODST and the new L4D DLC and Jessica is hooked on Braid although how she can work the puzzles out I don't know. Jake is sick and grumpy but should get better soonish and be nice again :lol:

Hey Mr. C, would you say Halo ODST is better than Gears 2?
See, I need to replace my missing (and unplayed) Gears 2, and wondered if it was worth 'forgetting' it for now and going for Halo...especially since its getting so many postive reviews.

Not bad, still fighting with Student Finance...good grief this is hard work >.< Plus packing is 'fun' lol

Feels like it's been a lifetime since I was feeling even vaguely normal :lol: - can't wait until everything calms down and I can stop being such an airhead...just need more sleep and the occasional meal, I think. Yesterday I made everyone else wait until I'd had dinner because it was my first actual meal in 2 weeks and I was hungry :lol:

I'm not too bad - just tired and still a bit achy but getting better each day. Juggling the needs of an 8 year old, a 2 week old and a 23 year old is interesting but on the whole I'm managing some sort of system. Just need something to keep my brain going whilst my days consist of nappies, bottles and washing clothes...it's making me so stupid :lol:
