Feels like a poor man's Constantine to me fused with Inception. Nothing really all that interesting to me and I'm sick of seeing Buckerpuke Creeperbutt in everything. I'll wait to see what comes, but so far, this trailer was butt.

Only reason this was even brought to my attention was because of Benedict Cumberbatch & most people I know are looking forward to it mainly for his take on the character. Hard to get a feel for a movies style or atmosphere and such in a trailer that's less than 2mins long.

got a batman begins feel to it, and slightly the matrix (?) and it's definitely has different tone than most marvel movies, a welcome change.. i know nothing of this character so i might enjoy it..

The thing with teaser trailers is that they only serve to tease. I remember watching the Ant-Man trailer and thinking "This is it, Marvel's gonna slip very hard" and look at how that movie turned out.
Also just because there is some trippy sh!t happening there doesn't mean it's an Inception ripoff. By that logic, I'd say Suicide Squad is a copy of Ocean's Eleven or Guardians of.the Galaxy or any Tarantino movie with an ensemble cast.
I liked the teaser and I can hardly wait 'till they show more stuff.

I'm not saying it's gonna be inception-like, I'm just calling it like I see it. I just don't find it all that interesting of a trailer probably because I don't care about Doctor Strange at all, nor do I like the actor playing him, so it's a bit of a lose/lose scenario. Same with Ant-man. Great affects, but I watched it with low expectations and ended up being let down. I really don't see why Ant-Man got a movie but Captian Marvel is still in the back-burner.

I know it was just a teaser but there was very little substance to get me interested. A lot of great special effects but that doesn't excite me anymore.
I hardly know anything about Doctor Strange outside of an animated crossover with Spider-Man.
Also, weird hearing Cumberbatch with an American accent.

my only fear is that this movie will be a visual masterpiece with a "been there done that" type of story. i don't THINK that'll happen...but it's a possibility based off the trailers we've been getting. also, i'm so glad they put stephen in his classic costume and not that hideous black cloak they've been trying to force him into for years in the comics

Yep. This seems visually insane. I love it. As others pointed out though, I cannot help but approach ambitious and different Marvel projects like these with a healthy dose of skepticism. They haven't disappointed so far with Antman or Guardians of the Galaxy, but there really is a first time for everything.

I have seen the trailer multiple times in the cinema and although Benedict's accent seems a touch ropey (but the trailer is too short to really judge to be fair), I thought the mental effects looked good.

he was the world's most brilliant surgeon, who was a real arrogant prick. one day he was in a car crash, and his the nerves in his hands were damaged beyond repair so he would never be a surgeon again. so he traveled the world and tried to find treatments, while bankrupting himself in the process. eventually he finds this group of monks in the mountains who are lead by their master "the ancient one". and the ancient one trains stephen, and he becomes DOCTOR STRANGE...and doctor strange kinda just fights monsters in alternate realities and protects the realm of the living. as far as his personality goes, he's basically tony stark from the movies.
