Good idea, but if you do that, I would worry about the quality of reviews...people typing anything in the review box just because they want a new chapter. If it's a review like 'update more' or 'nice' then that sort of review isn't worth having...well, not for me anyway. :/ Maybe specify that they have to be 3 reviews of good quality, even if they give constructive critique.

That sort of thing would annoy me too. I think the best reviews are ones that give tips for how to improve.

That sort of thing would annoy me too. I think the best reviews are ones that give tips for how to improve.

I've begun to believe that these sorts are just a myth that genuine aspiring writers have created to keep them motivated. 'One Day' I'll get a review like that....etc etc. XD

I think the best way to get that kind of quality review is to take a creative writing degree. At least that way it's critique from a professional writer who is qualified to comment. It beats reviews from kids and teenagers who most of the time don't know what they're on about or just write anything to get more chapters.

Thinking: Christmas Victorian fayers in the middle of October...they're becoming earlier and earlier. I bet next year there will be one in August.:lol:

True but it sucks when you are that writer and still expect substantial reviews in return for yours. >.<
Also, I like those pointless reviews. It makes my stories look EVER so popular when they've got more reviews than chapters XD

Im thinking if i had to reboot the jak and Daxter franchise I would stick it in the past and play up the mysticism like what Avatar (either Korra or Aang) does rather than play up the scifi dystopia everything is grim'n'gritty like the other games did.

Well...since my day's officially begun, I...might as well go and do that labor of love which is reading and reviewing all those fics I've been neglecting. Sounds easy enough, but I've got well over a hundred chapters sitting there. :S Ah well. If I don't reappear in forty-eight hours, someone issue a missing persons report in the area of FFN. I've probably gotten lost. ._.
