this is a thread for what moves YOU! want to see new dante have, or see more of. they can be moves from past games, or moves that you make up.
personally i want to see the rain storm/rising rain storm moves that we saw in the gamescom trailer in action!

Damn! The title of this thread reminded me of a porno movie. My nasty mind. :D

Anyways, to be back on topic, I'd like to see the impossible happening - the return of his 5 fighting styles. I'm in pretty much in love with Dante's gameplay in DMC4. With swords being my favourite kinda weapons, I don't like the idea of angelic scythe and demonic ax in the upcoming DmC, but hey! 3 weapons are better than 1.

haha sorry i wanted to make the title humorous and appealing lol and nice answer i also like styles, but in dmc4 sometimes style switching was overwhelming, which is why i like styles the best in dmc3, because you had to think ahead and be somewhat tactical. i think i will like the 3 stance system because its simple, and apparently turns one weapon into three! i can't complain with those possibilities lol
 
I already said in another topic that I want to see him being more "stylish" such as riding enemies like surfboards and running up and across walls.

But I would also like to see this dante doing the famous "stinger move".

O_o it reminded me of a song

i would like to see the million stabs my fav move but it should do more damage

I've yet to see a "taunt" and taunting is a trademark to DMC. I also would like to see Dante throw Rebellion (can't remember the name)

From the original series:
-Million Stab
-Prop (I saw a version of it with the scythe in the last gameplay video)
-That move where he just stands there and you aim where you want his secondary gun to shoot while he shoots straight with the other
-That move where he throws his sword and it spins around the enemy.
-That move that ToCool mentioned where he surfs the enemy around
-If he's using any Gilgamesh-styled weapon, I want the moveset from DMC 3
-A weapon like Lucifer (probably going to be in the devil side)
-Some unorthodox weapon like Nevan (which I never really got into using, but I know I should've).
-Trickster-styled teleportation and Nero's special dodge move that I forgot the name of.
-Running on walls

Now, since this game will probably sport its own moves, they'll probably be specific to either angelic or demon sides.
Angelic:
-The ability to call lights from heaven (but make it slow or limited or something).
-Flipping around enemies like Ezio does in Revelations.
-Multiple quick, but weak weapons like the scythe.

Demonic:
-Multiple heavy, but slow weapons like the axe. Who says Dante can't carry an iron maiden around? ;)

-Moves where you slam enemies around (think the opening cathedral scene where Dante fights the guards)
-Blocking

p.s. dante using an iron maiden as a weapon would be so unique and awesome! :)

Hah I was thinking about the 7 Hells of DMC 3...that one that carries a coffin around :oops: They took forever to kill
 
If it was possible to cover all needs of fans they would have been done. But i am thinking there is technical limitations. Like how much content you can put into the game.

okay well that's not the topic, so don't discuss that here. my topic specifically says post moves you want to see in DmC either created or from past games, so if you have no moves to contribute to the thread please don't post here.
 
No, he means the technical limitations of the game, which is actually a very good thing to think about if this weren't just imaginative. So CoolDemon, I'd say don't worry about limitations xD Just throw in what you want...screw technology ;)

there are no limitations in my thread so yeah throw in the whatever moves you would like to see. moves is the topic of the thread, not limitations.
