Enough of this other nonsense. Enough beating around the bush its time to determine who is the strongest.

    DMC3 Dante VS DmC Dante

Who is the strongest? Who will emerge victorious or who will obtain the title "weakest Dante"?

    Let the true debate BEGINS!

    well that was overly dramatic.

Didn't we have a thread for this already?

It was pretty old, maybe I can dig it up.

This is stupid. One has his fully unlocked Rebellion and Demon Trigger and has fought Vergil once before.

In order to get these two to fight DmC Dante has to have done those things.

Rebellion in DmC is not the same as DMC Rebellion and doesn't have awakening forms or anything.

DmC Dante fought Vergil and won so who cares.

Was is it its own thread or just a quick discussion and if so was the thread entirely about this fight.

Where's your source for Rebellion not having an awakening? Also, did you even beat DmC? If you didn't then you wouldn't know about

I did beat DmC and saw the ending. The whole glowing red eyes were never explained and just seemed to be there for special effect rather than a significant. Plus his eyes glow red when he devil triggers so it doesn't really matter.

DMC3 Dante is Dante at his weakest and is still growing and developing which is what DmC Dante so its a fair match.

Also, has for Rebellion don't confuse Rebellion the sword for Dante the person. In DmC Dante's powers and DT are tied to his amulet with Rebellion being a sword his father gave him while in DMC Dante's powers and DT are tied to Rebellion with his amulet being the key or part of the key to the underworld.

In DmC Dante was never stabbed by Rebellion to awaken his powers some inner energy striked his amulet to awaken his true demonic power. So in DmC Rebellion is just another sword with special abilities it doesn't reasonate with Dante's true power like DMC Rebellion does.

Well this thread is strictly DMC3 vs DmC so we can only focus on that and nothing else.

That was just Dante in general.

This is a discussion to discuss how the 2 at their origin point would stack up to each other.

Donte - clearly screaming and whining at a cut in his chest. (you all know that's in the game)
Dante - multiple blades straight through him and no f**ks are given. (Plus the 2 headshots from Lady later on that do nothing)

Both of these are the young versions "at their weakest", so yeah, Dante kicks the s**t out of Donte and defiles the remains.

You're not serious. You can't be serious.

    1. It's like you're neglecting DMC 3's prequel. The one were he fought Vergil for the first time. Before he knew anything about Rebellion. You're saying none of that matters here. If you're going to put DMC 3 Dante up against DmC Dante, then you better use him at the beginning of his game before the DT buff to make it fair. (DMC 3 is literally sub titled Dante's AWAKENING)

    2. You don't know what's going on with the demonic energy. You also don't know how many forms DmC Dante has. He's only met Vergil once. He hasn't fully released the potential of his DT (like DMC 3 Dante) and he hasn't tapped into the power of Rebellion.

    3. If Vergil's Downfall didn't help you realize that there's more to their powers then something is wrong here.

    4. It's like you're pitting DMC 2's Dante against DMC 4's. One Dante's events haven't happened yet. You're jumping timeframes. Just because they're at their weakest doesn't mean their storylines are on the same page.

    5. You can literally add two years to DmC and use the story plot from DMC 3 line for line.

    Thus making this topic asinine.

    1. DmC too had a prequel comic so your point. Both activated their DT in their respective games (DMC3 and DmC) and shown by the fact that Dante's DT gets stronger or changes in later games meaning his DT in DMC3 is at its weakest like DmC Dante's DT. Plus DmC was a RETELLING of Dante's origins story (DMC3) so DmC was essentially DMC3 it even had a prequel comic in which Dante never knew about his Rebellion either and got it as well. Plus Dante and Vergil never really fought in the DMC3 manga.

    2. Hey guess what. NEITHER DO YOU!!! Until its hinted and stated that DmC Dante can get more demonic forms then you can make a point. Plus DMC Dante never fully activate the full potential of his DT until DMC2 (which is decades from DMC3) so your point? Who cares if he only faced Vergil once. He kicked his ass regardless.

    3. Geez must I....no one os discussing DmC Dante at their full potential we're discussing the 2 Dante's in thier prime or first game debating who is stronger at their weakest origin state. Plus that argument is invalid since its DMC3 Dante and we shouldn't forget DMC1,2, & 4 Dante are all stronger hence DMC3 Dante is in the same position as DmC Dante of not fully reaching his full potential either. So your argument is if Vergil could ge stronger by DF so can DmC Dante well their is no argument to make Vergil in DMC couldn't get stronger and he did and he's called Nelo Angelo.

    4. So you're basically admitting DMC3 Dante is stronger. Regardless, if anything that argument is strongly invalid considering DmC Dante fought and defeated his mortal enemy Mundus whereas Dante by DMC3 didn't so DmC is jumping the timeline.

    5. In DmC Dante AWAKENED his devil powers too as stated by Phineas but it wasn't complete and neither was DMC3 Dante considering he kept on getting more and more powerful at each passing game.

    You're making this topic asinine.

Ok, let's all forget about DmC Dante's true DT at the end of DmC. The permanent hair color. The fact that he can't fully DT yet.

Let's all forget about DMC Dante's inability to DT at the beginning of DMC 3.

Let's just have a throw down.

    Devil Triggers:

Nephilim. That when he DTs he can freeze his enemies in place to the point were they can't defend themselves and move at hyper speeds.

Half demon. That when he DTs he gets an ability boosts depending on the weapon equipped.

DmC Dante wins. Agree or no?

Here, the next category is going to you and it's Weapons.

Dante in DMC3 can stop time an ability far greater than locking your opponent in mid-air.

You have no evidence DmC Dante can move at hyper speeds whereas DMC3 Dante has shown to be able to run down Temen-ni-Gru fast enough to catch his sword which was moving at Mach 20+ speeds due to flying down the tower and burning through the Earth's atmosphere. If you're talking about his Angel Evade...swift movement in short bursts doesn't make someone hypersonic otherwise Nero with his Table Hopper is hypersonic...which is not true. Plus even so with Sky Star and Trick Dante can move faster and cover more ground/distance between him and his opponents much quicker.

Dante's hair turning white at the end of DmC is no different than Dante being able to finally defeat his brother who fought at his best at the end of DMC3.

This isn't a match about story.

OBD fights are determined by looking at feats both parties have to offer and displayed and analyze who is better by calculations and examinations on how their respective abilities would work on the other.

Genetics doesn't play a role in this. Nor titles or anything jus feats displayed.

After this, you should move on to Weapons.

    Two things.

    Devil Trigger and abilities:

1.While the enemies are lifted from the ground, paralyzed, and frozen in the Nephilim's attack vicinity by the sheer amount of demonic energy the Nephilim is outputting, they are moving very slowly, that's space control.

    2. Nephilim's ability to slow down time as shown in a cutscene. Thus trumping the half demon's quicksilver.

    1. It didn't affect Vergil or Kat in Dante's fight against Vergil. Plus when using it on bosses their speed isn't really cut down that much and when they hit the ground they can move freely so its more effective if the enemy is in the air. Plus in a cutscene Dante was knocked down by Mundus who he used the DT on and it cancelled the DT. So if Mundus (with hpower source cut off making him weaker) can knock out Dante when under the effects of his DT who says Dante can't find a way to get out his DT's effects by using his own DT to overcome the effects which he has shown to be able to do to get out of Nevan's grasp and many other binding effects in DMC3.

    2. Stopping time is far better than slowing down time. If you slow down time the enemy can still move and if they're fast enough (which DMC3 Dante can get major speed boost from his DT) they can still be a threat whereas stopping time completely stops the enemy and they wouldn't know it or react to it whereas DmC Dante's DmC technically doesn't slow down time it restricts movement and manipulates gravity so DMC3 Dante can react to it.
