So I accidentally baked a pizza with the mother-f***ing Oxygen Absorber packet right underneath it (included with the ready-made pizza base).

After a lot of second opinions and checking the manufacturer's page, I decided to eat half of the pizza and see if anything goes wrong later.
If not, I'll eat the other half.

Rebel I have the same problem with family members who say one thing but act in a way that shows they really don't care. In the end I just end up having to nod and smile but not go too much out of my way. It doesn't hurt to talk to someone, but if they start demanding your time and attention when they don't reciprocate that's not worth it.

I'm starting to feel like most family interactions are smile and wave situations. Probably doesn't help that I'm too passive to kick off when others clearly deserve it...I'm a "murder you in my head, awesome put-down at 3am when no one is around" kind of person.

Current rant: please stop calling me. Every day. To talk about the same thing. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. I can't fix your problems, you are just repeating yourself almost verbatim (non-amusing anecdotes included) and somehow expecting a different response each time from me? Love you to bits but ye gods and little fishes, I am tired of being your soundboard. It's been 3 solid months of the "it's all about me" show. Get a counsellor or a YouTube channel or a dedicated Instagram/Pinterest/Twitter account to vent. But I am going to start screening your calls if you don't stop talking...

After Dragonball Z Kakarot, can we please stop with the shonen games? Especially DBZ. They keep rehashing the same stories over and over again. FighterZ, for all the flaws it has, does offer at least a different story and has the best fan-service out of all of the Dragonball games. There are other animes out there that only have a few, one, or no game adaptions. Digimon and Sword Art Online can only do so much. Where's my Battle Angel, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, or Vampire Hunter D? Hell, I'll take a GTA style Black Lagoon, and I hate Black Lagoon.

Let me tell you all a tale. A tale about how Reddit is cancer.

4 or so years ago I started using the Devil May Cry sub reddit, around that time DMC was sill considered a dead franchise, there were less then 2000 people subbed there, But the active community there was really cool, we all grew to know each others from posting replys, and we had intelligent discussion. We were all clearly people who loved Devil May Cry. Then everything changed when the fire nation attacked When Devil May Cry 5 was announced and then released, at first it was a joyous time, we all got what we've been waiting 11 years for after all. But then the sub got more and more popular more and more people kept flooding in. Intelligent discussion stopped, people who actually understood the whole series got drowned out only by noobs, Combo videos just started to just get ignored. Idiocy! MASS IDIOCY! Now the only thing that is left are memes, thousands of barley funny **** posts.

Thankfully the friends I made, and I got together in the Subreddit's Discord, but even that ended up going south after a while for other reasons, and we had to flee once again to a discord made for us by us. Popularity and success are a double edged sword people.

Sorry that happened. I never liked reddit and never joined due to dumb sh!t like this. It's why I stopped using GameFaqs around 2008. Just know most people on this forum are more sensible than the majority of the fools on reddit.

The issue with Reddit is the downvote button, Anyone who dares to challenge anything, who states anything that isn't the most popular point of view literally gets hidden by the website. If you've got a meme to post, then it will work, but if you actually want to have a discussion, that is rarely going to happen.

I saw this back when Reddit was starting to get popular. This intensified when the 2016 U.S. election started. I, like most brands trying to rise, have been silenced over stupid stuff. I was trying to poll gamers in what they want in the gaming industry, or what's missing. I tried to follow rules, like no self-promotion, no posting in "wrong" place [I posted in r/games or something like that], or whatever obvious rule... But it got shut down because the mods didn't want it there. I tried something different, and posted my YouTube video(s), there were nice comments, but then mods removed it. If someone is making an effort to respond to you even if a little negative, you are learning the tolerance level of commenters. But mods on the r/ModernWarfare sub have been suppressing negative posts. These people are not trying to be mean, they want to solve problems in games. I posted a short video, uploaded to the same subreddit, expecting it to be removed, surprising enough... it didn't.

There are even rumors that the r/ModernWarfare sub were being paid off to suppress.

The comments section actually proved their point. :banghead::banghead::banghead::mad::thumbsdown:
The truth hurts. And there is always one thing assholes can't stand is knowing every single critcism or flaw about them is true. They'll happily deconstruct or hurt others for no reason, but if it happens to them, they will cry like bitches and expect special treatment. I read comments in the video, but it looks like the sensible comments are drowning out the idiotic ones.

I find that disturbing. Sounds like reddit is just another version of 4chan.

4chan is worse than Resetera and Reddit combined. I mean, no moderator in their right mind would allow upper ADULT themes, or in extreme cases - pornographic, pedophilia crap on the site, verging on illegal ****.

From what I heard, there are some parts of reddit, that allows that type of sh@t. Me personally, I'm not going to go out of my way to see if it's true. If you do, be careful.

It's the end of January in Finland. The average daily temperature should be around -5 °C here. We should be making snowmen and having kids sliding down the hills with their sleds. We should be sharing this kind of memes around the social media.

Nope.

janfi.jpg

That photo was taken half an hour ago. We're having green grass. There are news about blackbirds making nests around here. The birds are singing everywhere. The hepaticae are blooming, which should be a matter of late May. We're actually having the kind of weather as an average Labour Day (May 1st). The whole ecosystem is f*cked up and I'm starting to get worried.

Also, I know that this is a tiny little thing to worry about (at least I hope so), but still. According to the Finnish law, every car has to be equipped with a different set of tyres during the winter and during the summer. For the winter tyres, there are two options: studded tyres and friction tyres. People tend to like the studded tyres more (it takes some practice to learn to brake with the friction tyres), so the majority of cars are having studs.
Now, what do you think will happen if you scratch the surface of the road with a stud? Yep, the stud gets worn out, but the road is not gonna stay undamaged either when there are hundreds of thousands of cars scratching it every day (this is also the reason why studded tyres are not allowed during the summer at all). So, in order to use studs properly, we need snow. Which we don't have.

This leads us to the fact that the asphalt used in roads is practically an oil product.
So, I think it can be argued that no snow > broken roads > fixing those roads > making more asphalt > needing more oil > more oil-based industry > more CO2 > f*cked up climate > no snow. UNLESS people learn to drive with frictions, which is not gonna happen any time soon.

Yeah I know, I might overreact in this. I don't even know how much effect could fixing roads have in the sense of greenhouse gases, or if it should be taken into account at all (in comparison to the total carbon emissions that are caused by cars themselves). Just that I don't like this at all, and I feel powerless in this. Like many others. I don't know what to think, what to do, what to eat, where to go or who should have my vote in the next Parliamentary or European Parliament elections. It's not gonna make a difference anyway, and that is a damn dangerous way to think.

Hm. I see. I'll just take your word for it. I'm not going to investigate. I'd already seen 4chan and not doing so again.

EDIT: Thinking about it, I think I know what you talking about, too. There was a time when "journalists" reported that reddit had a server spike due to the rise of nudist posts. That time when that actress' photo was leaked.

I really need to start saying "No" where beta-reading is concerned. I mean, I volunteered for one of the two stories I'm beta-ing, true; but I mean in general. Because honestly? Over the years, I've beta'd for a lot of people. A lot. To completion. I've never once thrown in the towel on reading the entire story, no matter how busy or how much I might not have been enjoying it. And yet, of the people I've asked or who have volunteered to beta for/CP with me? Only one has done it, beginning to end (with a second doing at least 75%).

I'm not so much irritated by the lack of completion as the lack of a heads-up. No one tells me they can't finish it, or that they don't want to. I could and would understand if they did, but they don't say ****. So after my current beta work? This is me, done. This is me, not putting my time and energy out there for other people, save for a small group. I'm tired of getting the short straw when I otherwise give it my all for someone else.

I feel like I'm guilty of this a little, if so, sorry for that.

Don't be. This definitely wasn't aimed at you (or anyone else here). It was more about the people who have agreed/volunteered, and then just...radio silence afterwards. Many of whom I've had ask for my help multiple times before and after the fact. Basically I'm just frustrated that I don't really ask for help often, and then when I do, it kind of just flops. ^^; But most of all, I'm frustrated with myself for not knowing when to say "No".

"Prince Andrew is uncooperative in Epstein case" whines US.

Yeah, and Anne Sacoolas KILLED someone. But, y'know, sets a dangerous precedent to force people to cooperate...:meh:

Would it kill you to be a good manager for once?

Why do you shįt on me from great heights on a consistent basis?

You’re two faced and so full of crap and you don’t care about your own staff. Stop false smiling and just admit that your people skills are non existent and you’re not cut out for the job.

In the nicest way possible, you pįss me off!
