In britain the ps3 are unreliable, i saw it on a program (BBC's Watchdog) It was a minor fault, Sony were charging over a hunder pounds for and took over a month to fix (when it could be done in 30 minutes for free.)
It had something to do with the solder.
I think it's called the 'yellow light of death'

Yeah I got that once but it was my fault. I underestimated the consoles ability to cope with heat and didn't give it near enough breathing room. But it was still in warranty and they replaced it with a refurbished one a few days later.
Wait a second :huh: I have already told you this..when they wouldn't give back my MGS4 stuck inside.
