Or dmc2 Dante, where he is at his strongest, and from my eyes, he doesnt need to say a word anymore because he is the legend now. Or dmc3 and 4 dante who is very arrogant and can't take anything seriously.

So you were never a fan of the character of Dante.


I haven't asked you to choose between NeoDante and Original Dante because they are two different character. But what i don't get is why it's right to bash Dante just because your not a fan of him.

I am not saying that you said this but:
1) someone said because Dante cried for Vergil he's a brat.
2) someone said that he looks like a drag queen
3) someone said he's a drama queen.


I like all Dantes because despite DMC 2, 3 and 4 Dante's aren't exact copies of DMC 1 Dante - they preserve certain aspects of him.


The thing is those of you who aren't a fan of the character Dante, but are fan of gameplay of DMC , like NT's version of Dante, and go on bashing DMC Dante even though they are two different characters.

If you like Ninja theory's version of Dante - fine by me. I don't give a dam.
But don't go around insulting Dante when he is not the same character, and your not a fan.

Because some people critizise what they don't like. Dante's character is lot of wasted potential and people tend to react in a negative fashion, when you make them pay money for a game, that is shortened by a quarter, because you are forced to skip the ridiculous cutscenes.

Red coat, white hair, guns. That's about it. Except for DMC3&4, where you basically played the same Dante for two games.

If I don't like a character, I reserve the right to make my opinion clear. For that matter: I think old Dante was one of the most horribly written characters ever. Even the goddamn Rayman had a nicer plot-curve than the garbage Capcom fed us in the last years.

I once expressed my dislike of NT's Dante. But since then i have accepted NT's Dante as a new character because that's what he is. And since then i have not said anything negative about him. And when i have critized NT's Dante, it has been constructive critism.
I am not a fan of NT's Dante, and i certainly don't go around saying i am despite not being.

So, if your not a fan of Dante, then don't go around with unecessary negative critism towards his character.

You've proved my opinion to be false? That's like saying you finished science; it's not possible to disprove an opinion, because it is not even a fact per se, but a personal evaluation. Dante looks like a huge faggot to me. End of discussion, don't bother convincing me of your view of him being the one and only true one.

Why do post on a forum? To make your opinion heard. If I can't express my opinion, without you being a huge pain about it, ignore me, but don't start crying everytime someone says they disliked DMC's art direction.

I have the right because i've spent hundreds of dollars on the DMC franchise. So i've earned my opinion and can talk about MY Dante anyways i want too.

Like i said before, and you said just above here, the OrigiDantes have several different personalities and the continuity is laughable, but i accept it because the gameplay out shines everything else.

I do like OrigiDante, all of them. I like him as much as i like Kratos, or Bayonetta but i still reserve my right to question and state my opinion.

I agree.

Having a opinion is one thing.

But using a derogatory word like "faggot" is another.

Fact is that we may have some members who are homosexual around here and would take offense to that word being used.

We should definitely be allowed to give our opinions around here.

But not at the cost of hurting others.
 
I think its better we just wait for more trailers just one more story trailer okay that should do it !

I promise you guys that this is just an experiment which isn't going to fulfil its purpose nevertheless it may get appropriate sales and decent scores but that isn't what Cacpom is aiming for they're aiming for 9+ scores and jackpot sales more that DMC4 heck more than DMC1 which i highly doubt it will so they'll bring back dante after a year or two but this is just one silly experiment a waste of everyone's time
 
I agree, even though I'm highly anticipating Resident Evil 6, I'd rather have some news for DmC. Although I'm sure Capcom values their in-house developed game, rather than one being developed by a third-party studio. I'm also predicting that Resident Evil 6 might have been in development longer than DmC (strangely enough, even though we've waited longer for DmC). Also, without Resident Evil there would be no Devil May Cry, but I'm not saying that its an excuse for lack of info.
 
Well theres still the HD collection.More reason for me to save more money if there will be no DmC this year.
 
Damnit, no DmC for 2012... It could be released, but I'm predicting a November, December release date, and that's only if its released this year.
