What other publisher can take over the DmC series?

Movie? I thought it was that animated movie :O Anyway, I rather wish for them to make new part of Dante's inferno with Purgatory and Paradise :D Only without giving up in the end :)
Nope. They're making a live-action movie. It's going to be directed by the mastermind behind Evil Dead.

Konami
DMC 5 or DmC 2 with Hideo Kojima.[DOUBLEPOST=1401441335][/DOUBLEPOST]Square Enix
Beautiful graphics
Good story
I'd rather not...Hideo Kojima would mean having more cutscenes and less gameplay. That's not what the series needs at all. The closest we got to Kojima-produced DMC was Metal Gear: Rising Revengeance, and he barely had anything to do with that game's development.

if it were up to me, i'd collect all the games they ever developed, and toss every single copy in a volcano

I hate Team Ninja for crippling the Metroid franchise with Other M...that doesn't mean I want to toss every copy of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive into a lava-filled crevice. If you hate DmC, that's fine...but Ninja Theory has honestly made some really good games, most notably Heavenly Sword and Enslaved: Journey to the West (the latter of which Taneem Antoniades had nothing to do with).

If you hate the direction they took Devil May Cry when Capcom contracted them into rebooting the series, fine. You're entitled to your opinion. But don't go hating an entire Dev Team because of one game you didn't like.

for DmC or DMC? or both?
Well DMC takes itself less seriously and its more easier to jump onto as the games are more one in done than DmC so its more Insomniac's wheelhouse.

Valhalla studios would be a better pick than Team Ninja because Itagaki is a more controversial/respected figure in the industry and Team ninja hasn't really step up to the plate with NG since he left so he would be the better business call . But if TN gives us a DMC x NG/DOA game, I'd be cool with them taking over.

Sucker Punch would be cool for DmC2 because I think them attempting an open world-esque environment would be cool and it fits DmC more because Dante has to be more proactive now and Second Son thematically isn't that different from DmC, even sharing a few problems so its not really out of place.

...oops

I wouldn't mind Capcom holding on to both sides of their franchise, but honestly, they need to make some changes, in that regard. Maybe if they could bring in a balance of both fresh faces and experienced devs, they might have a shot of correcting some of their major oversights.

Otherwise, Platinum games wouldn't be such a bad idea, I think. :)

I wouldn't mind Tetsuya Nomura or Suda 51 taking the reins but i'm not sure we are ready for that level of convultedness since people barely understand DMC as it is.

It's not a very complicated set up in all honesty.
Dante kills demons, he's half demon, castles, fight bigger demon, someone yells son of Sparda every ten seconds, one-liner here one-liner there, the end.

:O Didn't knew about it. Sounds fun. I hope it will be better than ED remake though.
You can't call yourself an Evil Dead fan if you had a problem with the remake. I am an Evil Dead fanatic. The Evil Dead trilogy are some of my favorite movies of all time and the remake was everything The Evil Dead should be without being just some carbon copy of the original. Same Raimi and Bruce Cambell were still on board and it was basically them just remaking their own movie with a budget this time.

The remake was unapologetically gory and kept true to the spirit of The Evil Dead. The remake was one o those few remakes done right and it was.....
