What do these forums mean to you?

For me I think that these forums are so friendly and everyone here is well worth being friend's with! Do you think that coming to the forums is just like taking a stroll to the park or does it warm to your heart like the people here do .

Well as im part of the ownership and running of the place they mean a great deal (like all our forums) and if the forums fail i feel i have failed as an Admin.

Well, I'm with DD - this place is important to us for many reasons and it's in all our best interests to make it top dog as much as possible, hence all the incessant nagging on my part to stop spamming, arguing, stripping etc...

I also like clicking the little buttons in the Admin CP. That makes me happy in the face.

this forums means to me a place where u have chats with people u hardly know and u get to know them ......... a place of peace .... until someone like me posts a thread which makes people angry :lol:

Um, well, forums are a place to chill and ****.
To rant, whine, moan and groan about insignificant bull**** we would never talk about in real life with others. Forums is the playground of our hidden desires, to produce conversations of things not popularized by the norms. People on forums act on forums what they truly want to act in real life but afraid. Forums are the pond of intellegence and ignorance, hate and ecstacy.

I remember thinking that to myself when I first joined. Very friendly place.

Mostly I use the forums to complain about things I dont like about the DMC series nowadays, like some sad old man..

Reminds me of a thread like this on another forum I frequent.

Anyways, this place means a lot to me, to me it means a place where I can socialise with likeminded people in a great environment, with a fantastic community and with Admins who are genuinely friendly and not like power hungry tyrants that I see in other forums.

To me, it's a calm place, one with quite possibly the greatest community ever, which is only slightly tarnished by a rare argument, but not enough to destroy it, I love this place, I truly do.

DMC.org is great but throughout my 10 years of forum hopping, I've joined MANY MANY awesome forums greater than DMC.org, but to each his own I guess.

It's somewhere to go when I'm bored or upset or annoyed at DMC or whatever. And I like talking to people with similar interests and stuff ...
