As I suspected, a night's rest has cured me mostly of my scary movie induced paranioa. The real test will be during my first encounter with an elevator...whenever that will be. It's ironic, but I can write horror...I just can't read or watch it without thinking I'm about to die. I always go back to it, though.

i think i've just found my half-brother on facebook... do i tell my dad i've found him or not? I can't, can I? this'll tear the family in two. They hate each other... he probably hates me... he hates my mum. I can't risk it... i can't tell mum either. My head hurts

edit: no i won't tell, it's best not to. he's been without his father for all of these years and he is getting on with life. If he's happy with his family i won't bother anyone with what i know. My dad was a twonk for losing contact and for what happened, i'll just keep schtum

Nope, I do that all the time! I get sidetracked by something else (food, for instance, something that'll make me even THIRSTIER) and go back to my computer desk nomming on chips or something, then realize "Oh f*ck, I left my soda in the kitchen where I poured it".
