Emotional detachment. That's all that is required to get through this. I'll just pretend everything is fine and that I'm happy. I'll just work myself into a frenzy trying to satisfy Mr.Perfect.
I don't have to be happy to make things work. He doesn't care anyway. If he sees me all happy all of a sudden and he's getting his way, he won't even question why or how come I'm suddenly so happy. He won't CARE. He'd just be happy things are going his way. Screw whatever I feel. Screw whatever I want.

Why'd you send me him? I asked for a nice guy who can make me laugh and who is positive in all things. Positive people don't complain. Nice guys don't withhold sympathy when their partner is practically hemorraging in hospital. Making dirty jokes or pointing out girls in skimpy skirts wherever we go is not funny. He's made me cry a thousand more times than he's ever made me happy. I never asked for this. I never WANTED this. So why? What did I do to deserve this nuisance?
