My face when a professor asks me to write a case commentary in an international scientific journal about a case which I mentioned during the lecture
I mean... there are PhD students fighting for getting their articles into this journal and here I am, as an undergraduate, basically just handed over with the opportunity because the professor, according to his own words, appreciates my point of view and "sees the potential" in me.
These are the once in a lifetime -chances. Whoa.

Watching the Supernatural fandom have a breakdown, the Sherlock fandom immediately get into a messy riot of salt and people being idiots, and a bunch of people who have no idea what's going on egging them on while everything else is falling to pieces is truly one of the funniest things I've seen. Tonight has been a time warp to 2012 and I will be so happy when it's done.

I'm almost afraid to ask what's going on with the Supernatural fandom, but I have a feeling I'll find out soon enough. (I know they're getting to the end of the series. I hope they're not losing their **** over that, because I still haven't seen any of the final season)... O_O

LOL, even TV networks can't stomach Trump's BS spew. That's legit funny to me.
I don't know about Americans, but to somebody "third party", not a US citizen and watching the situation unfold in a detached setting, Trump quite literally looks like an actual child calling for cheats in a losing game.

All I will tell you is that it has to do with Dean and Cas and a certain trope. But, like, I'll be amazed if you get through 5 minutes on tumblr or twitter without seeing either the salt of it or the amusement about it, tbh. It's slightly inescapable.

I can pretty much guess. It's probably what people have been bitching about since Cas appeared in Season 4. Suffice it to say I'll probably be rolling my eyes at the fandom in particular over it, whether it's that or not. This is precisely why I usually avoid the fandom side of things I like, because someone inevitably will ruin it with their tantrums. Though I don't need to tell you that; you're basically a veteran at seeing this stuff unravel. ^^;

I mean...let's just say, hypothetically, that the fandom was maybe right this one time...but in the worst way possible... Yeah, fandom is nonsensical like that. Like...I enjoy a handful of people in each fandom I'm in but fandom at large? They can **** right off. I'm kinda getting to that point where I'm avoiding fandom as well, tbh. I'm just tired of it. The fun parts are great but the tantrums and stuff...

This is making me wonder if I should just spoil it for myself. Thinking on it, there are so many things that could've gone wrong where Cas is concerned. Still, I have to wonder if I'm going to react the same way. I've been pretty chill about most everything in the series, even its flaws. ^^;

And, please don’t think that Trump's the only one acting "childish" in this political circus. Dems sued Trump in 2016. We citizens are waiting for stimulus checks, but Dems has been dangling Stimulus checks in front of Trump's face just to prevent his re-election.
More-over, those riots? Rumor is Soros is behind 'em. Democrats are supporting the riots, not only by expressing interest, ENCOURAGING it, but they are PAYING for the the riots - everything from ANTIFA, to BLM (Marxist Org), militia/resistance groups, Social Justice Warriors (SJW), CHOP (Portland), white supremacy groups, and so on.
So, hate Trump all you want, we are not happy with ANY situation. I am in the camp of "Keep Socialism out of U.S.!"

When I took my first look at these applications in our writing club, I thought they were really promising and that we'll get at least two new members.
Now that I've read them I'm afraid we'll have to reject both of them.
It sucks. We have only 3 members and it'd be great to have more, but we cannot just accept anyone who dares to apply. And when we are rejecting people, it's bad for our reputation, because some of them don't like the feedback they get and they take the rejection as a personal insult.
I really despise people who encourage me to give them feedback and tell me "not be afraid of giving criticism as well!", and as soon as I say half a word of it they get infuriated and start to insult me because "you said that wrong way, I'm not a professional, stop thinking that I'd like to be! I don't like your critique but it's definitely not that I couldn't take feedback in general, it's just that YOU ARE WRONG I WANT TO GET AWWS AND LIKES!"
