Thank you both for your support. It seems like she's through the worst of it, though we had quite a scare when we were told her lungs had collapsed. But now she's on the road to recovery and even has the strength to complain of boredom and demand we bring her knitting and crosswords.
*Sigh* I kinda want to go back and punch myself in the face for being so cheery and optimistic. It should of been clear that even if she survived the initial infection, her health had already been badly compromised and she would deteriorate soon or later. Oh well, at least she wasn't in any pain at the end...

I'm so sorry, dude. -hugs-

I'm thinking that there isn't a whole lot of games that focus on love and romance. Sure there's romance in games, Final Fantasy and most RPGs for that matter, Monkey Island, Zelda, and so on, there are couples, and legions of 'em, but the relationship isn't the center focus. Sure, there are graphic novels, but honestly, I've no interest, I have no idea how to even get one. The only game I can think of is Catherine and while on the surface it's not a bad choice for the standard Valentine's day game, it's not as much in the spirit of the holiday as one might think. It's like picking Amores Perros for it's romantic value; sure, Love is in the title, but that's not really what you should be getting out of it.

Well, things have taken a very sobering turn this evening. Almost 12 years ago to the date, the man that would become my father-in-law had a triple bypass. Now he's looking at a quadruple, though we're not sure when the procedure will be performed, exactly.

I guess all we can do is hope it goes off without a hitch, and he recovers quickly.

I could get basically the entire Sniper Elite series for under 150 dollars... MMMNNNNF or I could get Nioh for 60... FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-

That moment when you realize Classic Dante and Son Goku would get along.

I love this emote:

If somebody asked me to act in a fan made Power Ranger like show I'd jump on board so...damn...fast!

I must admit I've been very, very single minded lately. But when you want something, you want it!:bored:

Looks like both the remainder of my week and the weekend are going to be pretty busy.

+I should probably figure out what kiddo and I are doing for dinner tonight... :cautious:
