Lol not four seconds after I publish today's episode of Dino Crisis 2 and I have a Shampoo bot spamming the comments. This happened a few episodes ago too. Leave me alone Shampoo Wow, I am perfectly happy with the sea breeze stuff I already use.

@Chancey289 Likewise, hence why I wound up venting my frustration on FB. It's funny how often I'll defend things, even if I'm not taking part in them myself. I'm just sick of people having this attitude that if you play it, you're a 30-something living in your parents' basement. >.> I mean, why is it such a bad thing that it's giving kids and adults incentive to get out more? Especially people with social anxiety and more debilitating mental and personality disorders?

Not to mention most everyone I know who plays it fits into one of two categories: 1) Kids on their summer leave in serious need of something to do (in which you'll be hard-pressed to hear any parents complaining about their kids playing outside more), and 2) Hard-working teens and adults getting in a little downtime without going for that old fall-back on the couch; PC and console gaming.

Of course, I love console games, personally. I just think it's nice that there's something that encourages people to get in that bit of fresh air and exercise on what is an otherwise hectic schedule. Not everyone has time in their day for both relaxation and exercise, which results in them sacrificing one for the other--and most often, we know where that goes (and why the hell shouldn't it? If you've been on your feet all day at work, why shouldn't you take a load off?)

Lol, this is getting longer than I intended. ^^;

Long story short: Used responsibly, what's the harm in a game that brings people out of their shells and together? None. Why so many people have actively bashed it under the guise of "mature adult" *snorts* is beyond me.

There's a few great ones out there, Pokémon Glazed and Pokémon Light Platinum are examples of well built hacks, but the one's I've been playing as of late are ones like Pokémon Metal and Pokémon Alabaster. They were built from the ground up with RPG Maker XP, and work suprisingly well
I've heard good things about those those fan made ROMs. Btw do you know of a Fire Red hack that adds the physical/special split?

Actually, I think Pokemon Ultimate Mega Fire Red does just that, but I haven't got around to playing it yet, I'm going through the custom region games first

Fake Geek Girl.
Gonna check out that new Netflix original series Stranger Things.

My friend was telling me about it, and he described it as The Goonies meets Silent Hill with a dash of Monster Squad.

Alright, I'm sold.

Being my own country would be interesting. Imagine all the puns! =D "You're tickling me even though I asked you to stop, are you declaring war on my country?" "Let's retire somewhere private and engage in a more pleasant political negotiation." "Are you seeking asylum or are you intending on invading me?" If you're hungry: "My citizens are starving in the streets!" If you're swimming in the ocean: "I'm both a wo/man and an island!"

...this is why I'm not my own country.

Been up since half 4. This muggy hot weather is trying to kill me.

Autocorrect just tried to replace muggy with muggles. What....?

I know right?! It does that to me too!

CT: First no one likes my new species. Then suddenly people do like them and I'm able to come up with a second version made for demolition. Oh how quickly the tide turns!

Severe. If you break the rules, you'll be forced to dye. It is the fate of which the lawbreakers have sewn.

They're on to you! -apparates out-
Seriously, though, hot muggy weather can throw itself in a lake. Ugh. -frowns at monsoons-

I'm not against GO. At all. My sig is merely a warning to not be distracted. I know that GO has its own warning, but that hasn't stopped people from being careless. Besides, it was more of a joke than anything else.

I'm sure it'll be something that Nintendo will eventually fix in the future, so no worries.

----

In fact, I'm very much for the idea of GO games...

If Persona had its own app I'd probably buy it right away.

If Phantasy Star Online was a "GO", then I'd be all over the place looking for loot and spells.

If Shenmue GO had you find various martial arts move scrolls with the ability to challenge other fighters -- hopefully in real time and not through turn-based battles -- I would grind (in Shenmue GO, you could add two of the same moves scrolls together to make the move itself become stronger) for scrolls until I collapsed from exhaustion.

Yeah, I know I said I'd never go outside, but I was joking.

I'd go outside for Shenmue... a few times.

Twice.

Once.

Ok fine. I'd take an extra-long selfie-stick and wave the phone around hoping for some loot.

----

Like I said, I have various reasons to applaud Nintendo's ability to leapfrog over it's competition with "Disruptive Technology". They did it with Nintendogs, then WiiSports, and now this.

I was even a pokemon fan myself a long time ago -- it was like a really long camping trip that actually made itself seem fun (as opposed to real life muddy camping).

However, I simply have no interest in it. You can say that that's not a good reason to avoid it, but that's not really going to motivate me to look into it.

----

I'm even thinking of posting a thread discussing my thoughts on the matter. But I think I've said enough here.
