You know, the last time Batman has actually been interesting was in the Animated series. Now. he's become one of the most least compelling superheroes out there.

@Director Bison: Yup, and he had Vergil's help in DMC 3, Nero's help in 4, and Lucia's help in 2. Not that I'm saying he needed the help in 2 and 4, but it didn't go amiss nonetheless.
Eh indeed in 4 he could have gone inside the Savior himself with Yamato but then nobody could have stopped the giant from wrecking the city further.
Am I too much of a critic or did Lupin III really started to feel like a standard Mary-Sue fanfiction? Seriously, how many times will he bail Rebecca out? Maybe this would feel better as a movie, and not a series where each week you expect something new, only to end up in pretty much same spot.
Eh, it was only two maybe three times over the course of 24 episodes.
If anything, I'd say the villain is more Mary Sue-esque than Lupin, being practically good at everything without any prior experience.
I liked the first episode and the one where they revealed her past, but outside of that it feels to me like they push her to the front a bit too much, without knowing how to write her properly. At one point it looked like she outgrew the spoiled princess stage only to revert back to it.
Yeah, I noticed that too. He was out of MI6's grasp for a relatively short time, and suddenly he has all that high-tech stuff. Da Vinci was an awesome visionary, but no one is that good.
Mmm, Nyx is by far my favourite out of the new characters this season. I wouldn't mind seeing him return. Rebecca I could take or leave. She was only okay.
Overall, I have enjoyed this new season. Though the standalone episodes have been more entertaining for me than the overarching plot.

Just got back from watching 10 Cloverfield Lane, and it was good. The ending kind of loses me which makes me think the film would have been better off NOT connecting to Cloverfield, but for the most part it's a good suspense movie with an absolute show stealing performance by John Goodman. John Goodman should be a horror movie type villain more often. He's the best thing about the flick.
