Ugh...why couldn't this comp come with a version of Microsoft Word on it (my last one had Microsoft Word Starter; still Word, minus...well, I don't know what it lacked, but it did the job).

I spent most of last night trying to find a good word processor (every time I tried to get a free version of Word, it went to hell--Trojan Horse viruses, yay...). Libre office is okay, I guess. It's just going to take some getting used to. ^^;

If Libre office fails to satisfy you on long run, I found OpenOffice to be moderately good. It covers everything you can get from Microsoft Office, only problem I ran into so far is that spell check needs to be turned on each time.

Too bad Zenwriter became a paid application, while not for official documents, that thing is a blessing for writers. I think you can still get the old, free version 1.43 somewhere.

Doubt drug dealers would put pressure on their clients in plain sight, shady business is done in shady places. And he'd keep himself in check around witnesses.
It could have been million things, don't think of what you could do, take it as lesson for future. Even then, be extremely careful around drug addicts and shady people, help is not always welcomed and criminals fight dirty.
