What Are You Thinking?

I don't think I've met half as many people as Twitter seems to think I have.... *keeps getting messages about people she "may know" from Twitter* Honestly, if I've met these people, I'll friend them. Unless I don't like them. Then I pretend they don't exist. That's why I don't have a facebook account...to hide from family members and friends of the family's that I don't like. :troll:

Cleared my friends list on Facebook some time ago, if people can walk past me in the street without saying hello then how can they say they are my 'friend'? What they actually are, are nosey morons who just want to pry on my private life or boost their friend numbers so they swiftly get removed. Ive had more conversations with some members on the forums than with them in real life.

Thinking how I like my new avatar. And how I've realised whilst typing this that the text is still all in 'bold'. Oh well, can't be bothered to change it now...

Oooh, I agree. >_< I always remove people who are just being nosey or are spam/trolls when they don't chat to me. Granted, like you, I've had more/better conversations on the forums than most social networking sites. *prefers conversations on forums, usually*

My half brother is on facebook. To throw people off (like his birth dad) looking for him, he says that he is from the Netherlands :lol: I know this guy is my half bro as he looks a bit like me :s

Finally, that letter arrived...
and somehow a little bit of weight seems to be lifted from our shoulders. I have never seen so much post in my life fall through out letterbox.

MUM WON £10 ON THE LOTTERY!!! I don't know why I'm so excited, it's not like I'm getting any of it.

Oh, I know exactly what you mean. On XBL I found out the reason people were lowering my rep is because I don't talk to people often. It's like...if they really wanted to talk, why don't they just say hi?!

I'm debating having my username changed to Lightning. I might as well considering it would be funny. :lol: So many people associate me with her and her with me.

Still, I've been Meg (or meg127) the whole time I was here. It would feel weird changing it after all this time. I quite like my simple, yet still recognizable username. Thoughts?
 
Maybe I should just not go into any discussions and just check for news like usual. I sense an old pattern slowly immerse, a pattern I would like to avoid and which stopped me from being a regular here to start with...

I quite like Meg, but I don't know who Lightning is so maybe it would suit you better - some people might not know if it's a joke or serious name though :L

Lightning is the badass in my avatar. She's the main character of Final Fantasy XIII. I hate FF, but Lightning is just :w00t:.

To the people who have been here a long time, it's common knowledge I'm a Lightning fangirl. That's why you have people associating one of use with the other. I quite like Meg too. I'll keep thinking about it, but Meg just sticks so well. Probably because it's my name. :lol:

I asked my mum what he was called, i found him (the chubby cheeks gave it away :lol:) although when i told dad that i found him, he wasn't too pleased (family problems). I don't have contact with him... i figured he wouldn't want to speak to me... and i suppose, i don't want to speak to him (can't be bothered to message him just for him to tell me to f-off).
