Well right now, I'm hiding behind a pile of laundry in my kitchen. I was doing the dishes but then I heard footsteps coming downstairs and the dreaded noise "muuuuuum". So I left the water running in the sink, quickly turned off the light and hid behind the laundry.

Adjusting some of my notes for my novel (since NaNo's only a month away) and trying not to think about how great a pairing one of my antagonists and the anti-hero would make because stop, brain. Also adjusting my grocery list.

Getting ready to take kiddo to her stop, then will be taking Kaz to the shelter to get neutered. And since he'll be there overnight, going to get a ton of housework done in preparation for the in-laws coming for Thanksgiving. Haven't even started, and I'm already exhausted. x_x

Watching the first episode of this new anime called "Goblin Slayer". The show starts off all light-hearted as it follows a bunch of rookie adventurers as they set off to rescue a bunch of kidnapped girls from (you guessed it) goblins. It was going fine until the halfway point when suddenly the show ripped off its mask and said:

"Surprise b****! You thought I was some light and fluffy JRPG anime. But I was really Berserk all along!!!" (For the uninitiated, "Berserk" is an old and really dark fantasy manga/anime series.)

And now I need to go take a cold shower to get over the shock. :dead:
