Since we're about to head to the library, I'm looking up non-fiction books on feudal Japan/samurai in general; because I can only trust so much online data, and because it's easier to separate fact from fiction (fun as the latter is) in physical book format.

Why I feel the need to research something not intended for my writing projects, I couldn't tell you--beyond sheer curiosity. And perhaps the possibility that one or two things might make it into Arcane Guardian. Maybe. I dunno, yet. ._.
If you haven't already tried these authors, Jonathan Clements and Andy Cummins are both pretty good, although obviously not Japanese themselves.

Eating lots of chocolate. I really shouldn't do this, this is a lot of sugar, but my pancreas is conditioned to handle this amount of sugar, so it feels like my body's begging me for more every time I cut back. I guess I better enjoy my metabolism while I still have it.

Otherwise, waiting for lunch break to be over. Fighting my need for edits (they are slowly becoming rewrites, oh god the misery)

Drinking tea. Jotting down some refresher notes regarding gods, goddesses, and other entities I've made use of in my works (for cross-referencing purposes between the myths and my representations of them--mainly to see how much of it was faithful, and how much of it was creative license on my part).

Me and a friend are making a guide for RE6. I'm putting the elements together, working on the images, audio, video, organizing footage, and translating some stuff to Spanish.
