The more boxes it ticks from the get go, the less you have to worry about in the long run. Not much thats more stressful than housing buying/moving house to be honest.

My prescription is so strong that I have to pay for lens thinning and other weird stuff - so my glasses cost almost £250 once I'm done.
Jake has a similar prescription to mine and his glasses cost £80.
Painful.

In the pub having a couple of beers with an old friend I haven't caught up with in a while.
Did 6k this morning, said hello to Steve the bearded dragon at my mate's house, wrestled with a car seat and forgot an appointment.
Now I'm waiting for my bath to fill so I can forget today happened.
