Throwing together a couple brief gameplay videos of Bioshock 2, as beastly as my laptop is, Fraps seems to absolutely destroy my framerate, I go from a constant and steady 60 to 25 on Bioshock 2 whilst the screen-cap is running.

Still, set that video to record at 60 fps and none of the slowdown is noticeable on video.
