Wow man, I'm not saying "I don't understand, therefore it's untrue." It's the fact that the world we live in currently sees every company that has something bad said on their behalf consistently back-peddles to try and rectify the situation. Business is extremely important, so why oh why would any business think it's a good idea to **** off their consumer. that completely out of context...I'm legitimately taken aback and how unabashedly wrong you took that.
I have no clue how you feel about Queen of the Damned, Blade, Godsmack, or Disturbed, but those were hugely popular back in the early 2000s, and the grim-dark gothic stuff and heavy rock were huge influences on DMC at the time it was released, hence the constant gothic architecture, demonic elements, and heavy rock music. That stuff totally did fall out of popularity, and it's relegated to the circles who still enjoy them, they aren't part of pop culture anymore.
Tameem was only one part of the problem; people like you are the rest.
