Weapons/moves/skills for DmC Dante

^^ Well Lucia used knives and Trish used knives but i've never seen dante. Would be pretty sick too and have him attack like the Odette from Bayonetta, where u hold the button and then mash in additional attacks, but instead it would be knife attacks
 
I think it would be interesting to Vergil use a bow and arrow since it isn't a modern weapon nor easy to use. I think knives would also fit Vergil. I was thinking that he should have spirit weapons to contrast Dante's shapeshifting sword. Those would be weapons made out of his demonic aura like his summoned swords. so he could make a spear or shield out of his aura.

It would be funny for you to face Dante must die mode with only a bong as your weapon.
 
I can agree with it that knives would be a cool weapon to use, also because they'd create whole new move sets for Dante. If Dante had those kinds of knives with the little "serrated" parts on the other side (what exactly is that called in English??), he could grab the enemy's blade weapon between them and snap it in half.
 
mmmm can't say i know, but i would like to see either dante or vergil have knives, i think dante should have a pair of knives, and vergil should have a pair of kitanas! :) btw kammosjuttu i finished that create your own devil bringer thing, you should check it out :)

I read through your Devil Bringer design, and you really made a story to it which is great! Interesting creation, indeed. :D Now I feel like coming up with an idea of mine, hehe. ;D

Yeah, I was able to whip up the sketch in no time, so I opted for adding it in, since I wasn't sure would my explaining give the right idea in the end. If you choose to draw a picture of your Devil Bringer later on and add it to your post, I'd be sure to check it out. :)
 
okie dokie man :) i might just do that, and to get back on topic i would like to see a leg blade weapon for dante where he could do like a back flip to pop the enemy into the air, so it would act like a high roller move. and then his helm breaker move would be a fronflip slamming the enemy to the ground with his leg blade.

they already are ebony and Ivory are now revolvers
 
I don't like to refer to them as Ebony and Ivory, since it actually may not be them. As for what I would like to see Dante use? Well, I think it would be awesome if you could pick up the enemy's weapons after you defeat them to use on another enemy.
 
Yep. An awesome idea. I also like the idea of being able to "equip" some items just to show them off.
 
That would be a good way to show off the sword's shapeshifting abilities by having it turn into fallen enemies weapons.

That is almost like if the sword can fuse with other objects and thus be able to take on their forms. In a sense it sounds extraordinary. But then again, if the sword is only responding to Dante's wishes, it can take the form based on what Dante has seen before and knows to wish for, so fusing isn't needed.
But however the shapeshifting happens, it's cool; Dante can have a lot of weapons with him but only carry around one object.
The fact if he can use enemies' weapons is very nice. I just wonder, if he can steal weapons from the opponents, will they be permanently Dante's or will they break down after use.
 
I think that they should break down after a few uses, but he should be able to throw them at people and things to. So, like, if there was a sword, he could stab or slash a few times, throw it into a wall, and be able to jump higher by using it.
 
i'm wondering whether r not dante should have interactions with his devil arms.?
like having the weapons talk to you during the game-play and give you hints or just badger dante over something.
could be interesting.
